I feel impartial. It is hard for me to pick a clear winner - I thought it was very close. They both landed here and there and were fighting to the end. As far as scoring I think maybe Kessler's efforts were more obvious and energetic. I didn't try to score it round by round. It can't be called a robbery.

Yus, this is how I see it too.

Kessler won, but I was impressed that Froch was able to box as well as he did.

Its hard for me to say cos i watched it on a couple of rotten streams and listened to it on the radio (**** VIRGIN) but i do think kessler won narrowly but it was a good fight and both men deserve nothing but credit

I had Kessler winning a close fight. The judge who scored it 117-111 gave Kessler the nod in all of the close rounds. There were perhaps 4-5 rounds that were awfully close.

  5. Did it not come through on Virgin?

When I watched it live, I had it 115-113 Kessler. On the replay in HD, I had it 114-114. I could see it swinging a couple rounds in either direction from a draw.

The judge who scored it 117-111 filled his scorecard in on Friday Night when he got his envelope from Sauerland just like he has many times before.

I had Kessler winning 115-113. Good, close fight that Froch probably would/should have won......if he had pushed a little more in the mid rounds thru the mid-late rounds. Don't know why he was content to try and control the distance with the jab for most of the fight.

The 117-111 was indeed a wide margin for what was a close fight. As an American fight fan - with no favorite in this fight - I scored it for Kessler by 2 points. I would have scored it that way if they had fought in Denmark, England, or Bum**** Iowa.

Same as i scored it for Kessler 115-113 and i don't have a favourite, 117-111 is from a well known Sauerland puppet, the judging on this fight was always going to be questionable as the original judges couldn't get to the venue cause of the Volcano ash, you have to seriously question having 2 judges from Belgium and having no American judging.

The right fighter won so in a way we can't complain but the way the Sauerland camp seemed to know they had the decision in such a close fight before it was announced just looks bad all round.

I don't see how anyone could possibly give that fight to Carl Froch. For me Kessler was the CLEAR winner. 115-113 at WORST! I scored it 116-112 which is spot on

Froch won. Close but abundantly clear.
