i agree with this...at the time bowe ducked him (or whatever) lewis would have been fairly easy pickings for bowe imo. lewis went on to be a far greater heavyweight than bowe in just about every way but at the time lewis (under pepe) was an accident waiting to happen. imo anyway.
Bowe was hideously past his prime for the Golota fights. It's irrefutable! Go watch Bowe of 1992 and then watch Bowe of 1996. Irrefutable.
agreed...........especially in the 2nd golota fight it ruined bowe 4 ever........................ There was no dog in him at all.
Great post. Really there was always a way to divide fighters whether it be by race/culture/upbringing, etc. It's been in boxing forever basically and isn't right. I am a fan of some boxers that grew up differently than me, are a different race than me, are from a different and/or don't speak my language. I am a fan of their skills in the ring so I could care less if they're different from me I just love the sport. I understand one being proud of where they come from but that doesn't make it right for them to criticize people of other places just because they're from other places.
Dirrell doesn't have much heart in the ring but at least fought Froch & Abraham so I'll give him that. Mayweather has shown lots of heart just look at his fight with Mosley. He toke a few bombs in the 2nd and instead of running afterwards, he stood in front of Mosley the rest of the fight and beat him up. I don't like what Mayweather has been doing recently outside of the ring but he's shown plenty of heart in the ring.
I don't think Riddick had a 'glass heart'. But he did get used to fighting smaller guys, which made it easier for him. Alex Stewart had some 'labels' questioning his heart.
Anybody who says Lewis gave Bowe a beating in the Olympics CLEARLY never saw the fight. Too many brain deads on this forum, I swear.
