after the WBA finds a way to strip Fury and Brezeale gets gifted it's belt, it will be better than the 90's
watch the fight with Williams. When he was in Parkers chest he won a rd or two. But when Parker landed the 1-2 in the 3rd or 4th rd, Tank went right back into defense mode and lost every minute of every rd after he feared being KTFO. And how many contenders have fought a guy the level of Tank Williams in their 11th fight?????
Nobody really knows since only a 44 y/o Monte Barrett ever really landed anything flush and sound on Ortiz, but.....and I say this with some level of certainty.......IMHO....Ortiz's whiskers are as fragile as, slightly less fragile, but no less a liability as Wilders. :think
I agree 100%. There's definitely gonna be a golden era arising in the post K2 era which essentially started 18 yrs ago.
Thread starter is a troll , but you're 100% right, because nay_sayer already made a few threads about wlad being a bum and about good new era , stating that wlads loss had nothing to do with his age.
Now in this thread the hype goes the other way. American heavies are not "back". Wilder (our best) can KO anybody in the division, but is constantly at risk himself due to wild flailing and flopping around. Martin? While I thought he was winning that fight, he shouldn't even have been in it. We need a better amateur program.
Wlads no different a fighter to what he was 4 years ago. He just came up against a bigger more skilled boxer and lost - I'm tired of hearing these bull**** excuses from Klit fans who gave Fury zero chance before he fight.
Of course Damian, of course, but 98-2014 Wladimir Klitscko and 98-2012 Vitali Klitschko <<<<<< Tyson, Holyfield, Bowe, Wilder, Brazeale, and Martin. The K2 ARE the ATG GOLDEN ERA. But they werent American, so it don't count.
the only reason the 90's were called the golden era of HW's is becasue the biggest HW money fights were between American fighters and they were properly hyped, boxing had a huge following in the US at the time but the real golden era of HW boxing was the 70's, but back then there were no $20 mil purses per fighter and 1 mil PPV buys, so it don't count :deal
