Joe Hanks just won tonight and got up to 17(11)-0.

He is the new IBA HW Champion.

He won by UD against Alfredo Escalera Jr.

Toney said he's defending his title before he fights Shamrock. Why would he vacate it?

I at least recognize a few names on his resume for 16 fights. Anyone have a video of him so we can see what we are workign with.

I'm pretty desperate for an american heavy!

When I was talking to Roger Mayweather he said there isnt anyone comin through the pipeline.

When I asked him about Ortiz he said he hasnt even looked at the "tapes" yet. Roger is behind in the Tech arena.

I give him credit though Roger knows a lot about the history of the sport. He was also a good boxer himself.

Joe Hanks, well he has something of a future hopefully. good size at 6'4" and has beaten a fellow prospect in Ashanti Jordan and beat Johnny White. Just lets see him develop and hopefully this belt means he'll be fighting journeymen and old champions which should help him develop.

Wilder is about it, Seth Mitchell came to the game too late. Hopefully he becomes Hasim Rahman but that is a pipe dream. Hanks is meh. He's beaten pretenders now I want to see him against a contender. Wilder should be fighting guys like Joe Hanks right now.

But... but... that means James "Light food's Out" Toney isn't "The IBA Heavyweight Champion Of The World" anymore!

Wlad and Vitali "undisputed" as brothers... without the IBA title, so... I DON'T THINK SO!!! :bart

edit: well alfredo weighed in at 225lbs according to the internet. 26 lbs more than his last fight.
