The ANTI-AMERICAN sentiment on this site is 1000x worse than the pro-US one.

I have heard that everyone in the US picked Lacy...but if you twits were on here at the time, there were PLENTY of US posters picking Calzaghe by WIDE UD (myself included). Yes it was the minority, but it existed. The problem with that fight was, Joe was never really on US TV...Lacy was all over it...and winning impressively. So for someone to feel Joe would win, they would have had to seek out videos of him to really get a handle on how good he really is (I checked out a vid of his fight with Eubank just after the fight happened on advice of a friend who had seen it...and I have been a fan ever since).

This was more of an exposure issue than a nationalistic one (though there are some idiots on this side of the pond that feed into that mess as well). But that fact doesnt fit into the arguement of the morons like Arran who thrive on spounting xenophobic bull**** with every one of their posts (really has he ever made a NON-nationalistic post??? He makes CHJ look like George freakin Washington).

This type of **** is one of the reasons I dont frequent this site like I used to. Everytime I come here, even just to troll, I see some idiot putting up a post about overhyped americans....or overhyped euros....and then 50 more idiots will keep the garbage alive (more so if its about an american hype job) this is a BOXING forum, not some ****ing soapbox for you to scream your obsenities across the pond.
