    From World War 1, to World War 2 the Jews had a champion in one of the 8 weight classes.

    According to Tunney, and records from the Jews, Harry Greb was Jewish.

    Really I did not know Greb was Jewish...a good book was Bummy Davis and Murder INC. about Jewish boxers and Gansta's in the 30's

    Greb being Jewish is a myth. Some passed-along tale about the spelling of his name being transposed from Berg.

    Yup, Greb wasn't Jewish. His heritage is German from what I can gather.

    Greb is not Jewish, Zab Judah's Father Yoel Judah is a Black Hebrew Israelite.

    I don't know how Jewish the Judah family is in practice but they are not ethinicly.
    The Bear's Max and Buddy were Jewish ethinicly (on their Father's side) but may not have been in practice.
