I think DiBella wants the fight to take place in Montreal because it ensures a bigger crowd and hence a bit more cash despite the cheaper tickets and because it would ensure 2/3ds of the pot or so for Taylor, as the travelling fighter and much bigger name.

I can't be bothered reading your post, because it is too long and you usually ramble on about stuff that I'm not interested in, but, Hatton vs. Collazo comes to mind. For me, Collazo won that fight, but Hatton got the decision, because HBO had just brought him over and that was the start of his HBO career, so a loss really would have ****ed their plans up big time. So it isn't just American networks protecting American fighters.

That was genuinely a very close fight so why would you think it was protection?

Protection is when a fighter clearly loses but gets the decision.

I don't think it was that close really. I had Collazo two, maybe three rounds up.

Well that's personal preference I think most people accept it as genuinely close but that's a different argument :)

He just turned down Dawson. He doesnt want to fight the best, his management protect him.

If you damn Euros had networks that paid your fighters you wouldnt have to bend over and let the americans **** your asses.
