No they didnt. I dont want this thread to be about Calzaghe and Ottkes reign, they were 2 outstanding SMWs with the best resumes of the division history, so lets not debate about them on this thread as it wouldnt be fair to any other SMW.

What 90s SMWs are you reffering to and what was so good about them in your opinion?

Personally, I think Froch would have beaten down Beyer. Beyer couldn't handle Bika even. Abraham I've always felt was overrated.

Froch may well have done, but I dont think it is clear cut by any means.
When Beyer fought Bika he was well past his best and showing clear decline. D Green was a very similar SMW to Froch but a bit faster and a harder puncher. I think Froch is a bit more versatile though. Still Beyer was able to ride the storm and out box Green so I personally think he would out box Froch, in a fight that Froch would let slip through his fingers, but I wouldnt bet against Froch coming back to score a KO to render the cards useless

    Read below. You are delusional.
Where are the comparisons? There arent any are there :-(
If you look through the previous threads I have done, you will see there are many not involving American fighters, like the thread where I picked Froch to beat Abraham.

You have made yourself out to be a right numpty now
    No comparisons :patsch:lol:

Review question and get back to me. Once again, you are trying to backdoor your way into your usual hobby horse: American fighters and whether they are overhyped, overrated, et al.

    Review what question :huh.
Backdoor into what hobby horse. As said you are delusional and obviously suffer an inferiority complex. I havent called these fighters overrated here. A matter of fact, 2 of them have had their career highlights listed and proven themselves as better fighters than many give them credit for.

An inferiority complex is a terrible thing to live with. Now why dont you, who has made the comments try and tell me exactly what is wrong with this thread, when nothing derogatory has been said. This should be good

Lacy is a one dimensional plodder, with poor defense and very poor skills, his head movement is poor, his hand speed is average or below average, his footwork is atrocious, he completely lacks the ability to make adjustments because of his limited toolbox of skills, he lacks the ability to counter punch completely.

I could go on all day, he's a tomato can, he had some pop if you were there to be hit that's about it.
