American TV are not televising Bute vs Froch because its a mismatch

EPIX isnt big in the States. They show all the Klitschko fights aswell lol. Cant believe Showtime didn't show it.

 

Froch V Bute is deemed a mis-match despite the fact that Froch has fought at a much higher level than Bute for several years and he is the one they don't deem worthy.

Yet complete mis-matches like Mayweather-Ortiz, Pacquaio-Mosley, Alvarez-Hatton, Dirrell-Cunningham etc etc etc are all picked up. Americansatsch

Showtime chose to try and make the final fight of their contract with Bute a showdown with the recuperating Ward. However when Bute signed to take on Froch, SOG made a remarkable recovery and looks to be slithering into a fight with Chad Dawson on HBO.

 

Is this the 2nd fight of 3 in that contract Scott?

 

Froch seems to me to be slowing slightly, a few years back and I would have made him the favourite against Bute but now I see Bute being the slight favourite. Hope i'm wrong though...

 

They have a 3 fight deal and they showed him against Magee and then Johnson. They got one fight left but it looks like Ward is heading to HBO so that's put a fly in their ointment!

Yeah, Pavliks a name but not much more than that. When the contract was signed with Showtime I was hoping for Kessler and the winner of the Super 6 to be amongst the fights.
