Good post Pipe Wrenched. Personally, I never felt that Joe needed to come to the US. I already had a tremendous amount of respect for him as a fighter. Sure, I had my moments where I'd take shots at him about the quality of his opposition but he shut me up (as well as alot of others) after he beat Lacy and Kessler. Big ups to him for coming over here to fight Hopkins. It's gonna be a good fight and I think Joe's gonna win it.

Even though many are now picking Hopkins, when he gets destroyed he will just become 'old', not that I don't disagree as I've stated he's past his best for a good while now, too past his best to even compete.

But they will only now consider him old not because they've analysed it correctly, but because they just assume that Hopkins is a better H2H and all around fighter than Calzaghe, which is complete horse****, and when Calzaghe disposes of the aging HOF'er, they will refuse to submit that a less past his best equivalent master destroyed a further past his best boxing master of former equal level.

Prime to prime Calzaghe still wins and when Hopkins doesn't even win 2 rounds tomorrow(I'm not sure he even takes 1 cleanly TBH) and gets brutalised and stopped down the stretch, I hope that will become apparant that he'd cleanly beat Hopkins prime to prime.

If I am wrong, then you are all free to abuse me on here because I type this with complete arrogance.;)

Could happen, the other way I think Hopkins can win is to take the fight into the bowels of Hell. I'm still leaning toward Calz. to pull it out.

I always thought the Calfaggy posts were pathetic. JC came over to fight BHop on his turf, respect is due.

I'm just worried that this might be a boring, ugly fight that won't live up to the hype. I seriously doubt anybody is getting KO'd.
