Americans: How far would you/have you travelled to see a fight

There is no US fighter that is worth travelling abroad to watch in this day and age. Mayweather would be worth it I guess, but I don't think he is too appealing to the everyday American who is patriotic.

I really do feel for the UK crowd. They deserve to have a Pac-Hatton match in the UK.

 

Most Yanks are afraid to leave the US for anything, let alone boxing

 

if we had one or 2 stars ..then i would...we have different regions...our country is huge and is full of stars from coast to coast...i would not travel to see a guy who wasn't local...although i would if it were free

i know rite.. americans are really conservative people that live in the safest enviorments with lowest crime rate in the world. atsch

 

I'll head to Sin City this year to watch PBF-Pac. But thats about it. IF I can get a good package deal.

The afternoon of the Weigh in is very exciting, and FREE!!! The fight itself? I wont pay exhuberant amounts to watch the fight live. I'd rather pay 50 bucks to watch it on the Big Screen so I can score it in peace.

 

if the economy is still in the sh*tter by the time a possible PBF-Pac fight comes to fruition..you should find a helluva deal to Vegas.

 

Thats exactly what I'm counting on!:good:good:good I would love to be able to get, say a Suite at the Embassy Suites next to the Hard Rock, Friday and Saturday, returning Sunday, with roundtrip air, for say, under 400 bucks. 50 for the fight, and a little beer/Marlboro $$$ and I'd be set.

Last year it would have ran me, oh, say 350 for the Flight alone, and about 175/night if ES was being generous. I've talked to Suge about possibly doing a radio broadcast live from the MGM the day of the weigh in, it would be the ****.

 

I'd like to go to Germany someday to see Wladimir Klitschko fight, that'd be a good idea, but for now, it'd have to be somewhere in the United States.

 

Embassy suites? Holy F*c...watch out for them hookers and drug dealers. and those are the nasty ones too.

 

I don't have much money so the farthest I'd go is about 30 minutes from my house which is roughly the distance from my house to Phoenix. Which is where any big events take place in this state. Any further than that and **** it, I'm staying home. :yep

 

From Sydney Australia to Manchester for the Tszyu v's Hatton fight and also went from Sydney to Pheonix Arizona for the TSzyu v's Mitchell 2 fight
