A fight between Alexander + Maidana and you wanna start a thread about how it exposed Khan. I think you need to give your head a rattle.

Khan v Alexander would be an interesting one. For now though Khan needs to stop being a whining ***** and get back to business, it puts me off him.

Slightly past his prime, but I'd give Two Jags the proverbial puncher's chance against Khan in a catchweight bout.

Last night's fight doesn't prove that Alexander is better than Khan, Maidana is worse than Bradley, or any other pointless exercise in boxing arithmetic.

What it hopefully should go some way to do, is to stop Team Khan, GBP, HBO, Jim Watt et al from filling my ears with bollocks about Khan being the next great p4p fighter and a legend in waiting.

There's a lot of good fighters at 140, all of whom are on a similar level with Bradley appearing to be the frontrunner based on results. They should continue to fight each other to establish a true #1, and then whoever that is can be talked about in p4p terms.

I don't get how Khan has been exposed on the Alexander and Maidana fight.. :think

Your idea is this. . . Bradley > Alexander > Maidana < Khan..
Bradley dominated Alexander who convincingly dominated Maidana who clearly loss to Khan.. Bradley is the type to put heavy pressure same with Maidana but in two different styles.. One with his unorthodox boxing and the other with his power punches.. Alexander and Khan are both out-boxers but they also have different styles.. The Kotelnyk fight shows it.. Alexander was out-jabbed by almost double, and Khan used his jab and speed to out-boxed Kotelnyk who also defeated Maidana.. so it goes like this..

Bradley > Alexander < Kotelnyk > Maidana < Khan.. :deal
To sum it all up, one fight doesn't expose the other fighter.. :smoke

Anything to have a pop at Khan, the Op is a known Khan hater.

After Khan takes care of Peterson he back up near the top and will be back, The Kings return....

Moronic thread, nothing to do with Khan or the 140 divission. Maidana still gave Alexander a tough fight at a weight class he didnt feel comfortable in. Alexander should go after Berto/Ortiz and Id like to see Maidana/Alvarado.

In that case, Lamont Peterson sucks, because Lamont drew to Ortiz who got knocked out by Maidana, but Maidana got beat by Kotelnik who beat Alexander who Khan dominated.

    Doesn't work, does it?

Anyone saying Maidana's shot's talking rubbish. He has poor technique so he relies on strength and power and toughness. Against a bigger guy who should be at 147lb who has better technique he had no advantage.
I don't see how he's any more shot than when he fought Corley, styles make fights.

To be frank I think Bradley beats Maidana clearly too. I think he proved he was number 1 by beating top 5 guys over the longest period of time but he should have fought Khan.

I've been saying for years that Maidana is a bum. The only reason he troubled Amir is because of Amir's punch resistance.
