Imam is solid except his defenses lapses which leave his chin wide open.

Not saying he's got a 50% chance of winning, but he certainly no worse than Lundy or Molina.

Don King is a dinosaur. It's long past time for him to be extinct.

    I wouldn't mind seeing Crawford-Imam. Imam's dangerous but has a suspect chin.

Coming off a loss to Granados, and a win against an opponent who had lost five out of his six last fights. Wow.

Imam has been very inactive, struggled against his last opponents who was a really low caliber guy and before that he lost to Granados.
King is trying to cash Imam out, but that's unfair, Imam has talent.

That's a very dumb thing to do for a promoter. Imam needs several fights against low risk but durable opponents before stepping up. His confidence will be completely gone after taking a one sided beating at the hands of Bud.

If Crawford refuses, people will say he's ducking Imam.

I don't see Imam being much of a challenge. Not with defense as bad as his.

Imam hasn't done anything to earn a mandatory shot. A year and a half ago he was stopped by Granados and has one very low level win since then.

Imam has talent and at one time was on the rise, now he's inactive and clearly hasn't done anything at all to be in this position.

If he would have won an eliminator that would have better prepared him for Crawford and gave him being a mandatory a bit of credibility.

    He definitely does lol
Three of his fighters have been extremely inactive and are lined up for title shots this year.

Charles Hatley, Bermane Stiverne and now Amir Imam!

Of the three, Hatley is probably the most deserving.
    Imam and Stiverne????????????
