More like they pick them by throwing darts at names while blind-folded and drunk.

I really hate how Imam's career is being butchered. He is a very talented fighter in my opinion and deserves better. He should be under totally different management but those scumbags that's handling him now probably has him locked into a messed up contract. I hope that he can get out of that mess and try and sign with somebody like Robert Garcia or Dan Bermingham before he's totally ruined. I would even settle for Virgil Hunter. I hate to see young fighters with talent like his being used up.

Yeah its pretty messed up, and hes now been relegated to fighting on local fight cards his last fight against that 16-19 guy was horrendous he was still getting tagged like he did vs Granados

If u check his resume in 2013 he went to dominican republic and proceeded to fight guys who were 4-45 and 0-19 lol

Ive seen his footage of him working hard in the gym and sparring guys like Lubin, but hes being so poorly managed since the Granados loss its rediculous

I still do not see the hype around Imam, he's tall and very fast but he doesn't fight smart and likes exchanging.

Crawford beats him handily. I don't see anyone beating Crawford at 140 or 147.

One of the best fights to make at 140 lbs. I really wonder how Amir's career would've looked like had he signed with any other top promotional company. DK has been incompetent for a very long time and hasn't done much to help in the progression of Imam's career.

Crawford is obviously the favorite but Amir would be a live dog in this fight.

Crawford looks like he's the real deal, but he wouldn't have physical advantages over a good amount of fighters at 147 lbs. I think a couple guys at 147 lbs could give him a really tough time including Spence, Brook, Porter (I just think he has the style to make it a tough night for Crawford,) even Thurman would give him a good fight.

To say no one at 147 lbs would beat him when he's never campaigned there is a bit ambitious. He has the potential to lose several matches at 147 lbs.

He hasn't campaigned there and it is just my opinion but he outsmarts the boxers at 147 including Brook and Spence. The toughest would be Brook. Good counter punchers cause problems for Porter and I think Crawford deals with him.

The footage i saw of them sparring was before they turned pro or maybe in their first or second year.
Imam sure was getting tagged in his last fight, i saw that and those punches from a top 20 fighter would have hurt him.

I think they were both pros at the time. Plus Lubins like 2 divisions above him

Crawford's not a puncher but I still fully believe he can starch someone with as fragile whiskers as Imam.

There are plenty of fighters that would beat Crawford at 147, if Gamboa wasn't a midget he would have done the job.

King's idea of a favor is throwing Imam to the same wolves he's done a poor job of preparing him for.

I have a bad feeling Bud's going to ruin him. He's the wrong fighter to match Imam with at the wrong time.

Yeah I hear you, However I think that he was being mismanaged before the Granados fight.
