Khan did well to sell the fight. Got his final big career pay day. The public fell for the scam

Well Kell did his talking outside the ring too. If we're honest, Kell did much more talking about Khan than Khan ever talked about Kell. Khan pretty much ignored that Kell Brook existed his entire career lol.

Sure you can say that, and no one can tell you otherwise now that Kell won. But prime for prime, I don't think Kell could handle him. And I don't thnk Kell really ever had the power to knock him out cold. Even last night, Khan was a sitting duck but Kell couldn't drop him. if it happened in the mid-2010s when they both were peak, I still like Khan to outpoint him and outvolume him and win a decision. But I think one thing I miscalculated about it, is the motivation factor. The pent up rage in Kell Brook that he let out last night. Now that we seen it play out last night, and after seeing how much of a one-sided ass kicking that was, I think we have to consider that Brook may have always had his number. Khan may have been the more successful fighter on the world stage, but head to head, it's clear that Khan was avoiding Kell Brook and he sensed that fightng Kell Brook could have held him back from the greatness he did achieve.

Lets say they fought earlier in their career, and Kell Brook beat him like he did last night, that may have truly derailed his career. Staying away from Brook his entire career may have been a smart move for Khan, whch allowed him to get into big fights and have some big wins. That may not have happened if he fought Kell earlier in his career. A loss to Kell in Khan's prime could have really sent him on a different trajectory.

That's what Kell has been saying for over a decade. Khan acted like Kell was beneath him and Khan was a bigger star and was fighting in bigger fights, where Kell mostly was domestic level. Kell destroyed that idea last night lol, but there is some truth to what Khan said. He has fought more bigger names than Brook and he has had more wins over big names than Brook had. Brook only had the win over Shawn Porter, which was a great win, but he failed pretty much every other top he stepped up. Khan was more of a mixed bag. He got sparked out 3 times, but he also had several more big wins than Brook had. And also Khan always went out on his shield. Khan never quit in fights Brook did.

It was Virgil who threw in the towel. HE didn't quit. He wanted to continue. He was taking his 5 minutes after getting hit low.

That's what happened, but regardless, it was a bad decision to ditch Virgil for that. He was only looking out for Khan's well being. Khan could have continued against Bud, he wasn't badly hurt.

Khan's condition against Brook was pathetic. Bud's team advising him was a disaster, "cupping therapy" black marks all over his body. Horrible for Khan to show up to the Brook fight in such poor condition.

Khan was being out-classed by Bud and took the easy way out.

There's weight classes for a reason, right? Khan is just a little guy compared to big bad Kell Brook lol.
