I wasn't excusing Ward's low blow, what I was doing was pointing out what happened and what didn't. People were exaggerating and making it seem like Ward was hitting Kovalev low repeatedly as if that's why he won. The reality was is that he hurt Kovalev from legal shots, and the only true low blow was that last shot right before the ref stepped in to call it off, when Kovalev was already hunched over and asking to be stopped.

We might have different interpretations of how bad certain low blows are, but people claiming like that Bud's low blow hit Khan on the thigh is a clear attempt to lie about where it landed to make excuses for Bud, like it wasn't that bad of a low blow or something, or that Khan was faking being hurt. The reality is that it landed in an painful area, not on the thigh. Also people were accusing Khan of "quitting" which is absurd since #1 he was hit low and #2 it was his trainer who threw in the towel.

No one accused of Kov of "quitting" against Ward, instead Kov fans labeled Ward a cheater and blamed the loss on the low blows, which was ridiculous since the shots that hurt Kovalev were not clearly low, they were on or near the belt-line, until that last one when he was already ready to go and hunched over. The other thing to understand is that Ward was also making a concerted effort to go to the body, and Kovalev was soft to the body. Bud wasn't making a concerted effort to land body shots on Khan, and that low blow came out of the blue. If you can't see the differences between those two scenarios, then I don't know what to tell you. I know you're trying to equate the two in an effort to label me a hypocrite, but it's really apples to oranges. They were far different and interpreted much differently in general.

I never believed his sense of timing was lost. It couldn't reasonably be expected to be as keen as in his prime, but, on the evidence of the Crawford bout, nor had it deserted him. Brook is unarguably a long ways past his heyday, but the qualities that always made him a nightmare matchup for Khan were retained in significant enough measures to get a job done last night.

The only question for me was how severely he would be affected by another cut below eleven stone.

Only thing I disagree with is that it necessarily would've taken longer.

He was out-speeding him at times but it was only a matter of time Canelo is far better than Khan was and no way could Khan take a middleweight champs punches, Prescott couldn`t have knocked Brook out, too small.

Well all I can say is , what a refreshing change to read a post from Shadow without a mention of canelo...His posts usually sound like a take off of Isaiah 34 where he is angry with the world against canelo ( His God)...now Shadow has gotten me in trouble with my dear old Granma who would chatised me for taking the lords name in vain....shadows a badd maaan...lol

Odd response, though your view of the world seems to be a bit myopic and limited to this forum if I'm to understand your claim that you see the world as being against Canelo. The world would seem to be Canelo's oyster at this point, and quite to the contrary of your view that it's against him. It's pretty clear by now that being angry at the world for Canelo being on top is the problem of GGG fans and those who do not accept Canelo as the P4P #1 or the King of Boxing.
