Amir Iqbal Khan vs. Ezekiel Brinsley Brook & Natasha Jonas vs. Chris Namus RBR.

I know Jonas is moving up 3 divisions to fight at 154, but how come her opponent weighed in almost at 147? I have a feeling there was a clause in the contract stating she must not weigh above a certain weight limit so she is drained to aid Jonas.

 

Gotta be honest, I’m really looking forward to this. Genuine dislike between the two and both have their frailties. I have absolutely no idea who’s going to win either which adds some appeal.

More than anything I find it impossible that this will be anything other than a very entertaining fight for as long as it lasts.

Both are total bellends in their own way too.

 

Brook looked completely finished against Crawford but then Khan hasn't fought in three years and I don't think he's exactly lived in the gym during this time. Anything could happen really. After all the build up it will probably end up being a boring 12 rounder that gets scored a draw.

 

They're both so chinny this could turn into a clown show. I'll go Brook inside 9 after tasting the canvas.

Crystal Khan can win if he keeps at range and uses his faster hands and decent jab for a points victory.

But Khan has no ring iq. He'll get dragged into a brawl and from there Brook is a clear winner.

Weird especially as Namus took the fight on 11 days notice.
She either is getting good money or needed some chimp change quickly.

 

Kell Brook has never been chinny but he does have an eye issue that will never heal at his age. I pick him to win if Khan doesn't turn back the clock and rapid fire Brook to submission.

 

First 4 rounds to be very uncomfortable for Brook with Khan setting the pace with his superior hand speef

But Brooks timing and accuracy will come to fruition soon after and when Khan switches off as he tends to do Brook stops him between the 7and 9th rounds

 

I said in another thread that I didnt care anymore about khan-brook.

It seems I lied. Tbh, I'm looking forward to watching the fight. Even if they are shot to pieces.

People slated this fight but it’s all our group chat has been talking about all day and boxing isn’t spoken about any other time.

 

I've supported this fight all along and I remain excited. Yes it's far later than it should be but they've deteriorated together and it still comes down to one thing - can Khan avoid getting sparked? That's the way this fight has always been looked at and it remains that way.

I've always felt Brook would win the fight and after seeing him look okay at the weigh in, I'm sticking with that prediction. Khan to look good while he's on his feet but I believe there will come at time in the fight when brook touches that chin and then it's curtains.

I'm not a fan of Brook but I've always wanted him to beat Khan because I blame Khan for avoiding the fight in the past.

Proper grudge match. You just know this means the world to Kell in particular. Lets get it on!
