Main event lived up to hype, the card in general however was the worst for a UK PPV I’ve seen…

But no-one will remember that as it was hopefully a good final chapter in two British ATG’s.

Highlights as well there’s no real massive names coming through that can replace Brook, Khan, Froch etc with the casuals…

Tbh if I bought that I would rather have been spared the pain of watching that undercard and just had the main event.

Khan was away in america getting his ass kicked by mediocre C Level fighters in Peterson and Garcia more like.

Think you're forgetting Brook has been in the ring with Golovkin, Spence, Porter, Crawford himself. And Brook won a world title in the much tougher welterweight division, which Khan failed to do because he wasnt good enough.

You're right though about Brook strangely chasing that Khan fight so much. The same way Khan was chasing Mayweather. Stupidity, Brook should have focused on becoming a 2 weight champ at 154.

 

Kell could chase who he wanted, there was no demand to see him against anyone decent. As much as the Sky hype machine got behind him, he wasn’t likeable or marketable other than in his home town, and that one underdog fight against Golovkin.

Warrington had the same problem until the Lara fight - no big deal outside of Leeds and so there was little upside taking him on.

 

He lost to all of them bar one. The one he beat has been beaten by everyone.

Khan is very capable of losing against top opposition too.

 

Yeah just like Khan lost to the best fighters he faced - Alvarez, Crawford

Difference is Brook never lost to any average fighters ( Garcia, Peterson,) or poor fighters ( prescott) . And he didnt hit the deck about 15 times to all levels of fighters like Khan has

 

He never beat anyone great either. Whilst he never lost to 'average' opposition he sure as hell looked average against some of them.

Plus Danny Garcia narrowly lost to Porter. The only half decent guy Brook has ever beaten.
