Amir Khan will return to the ring at the ExCel Arena in London on February 2 when he takes on Denmark's Martin Kristjansen for the WBO inter-continental title.

Really hoped Khan would keep the opposition at least fringe world level , poor choice or what!

he is probably taking the ricky hatton route, 40 fights and then fight a faded legend (probably casmayor).

if that faded legend had ko'd his legit no.1 contender in 3rnds 6 months earlier then yeah thats the hatton route.

Casamayor is in worse nick now that Tszyu was when he fought Ricky. **** sake Khan will destroy this guy. They should realy get him in there with somebody witha bit of pop.

Even if the guy is limited if he has a chin + power then that would be a much better oponent.

this clearly shows that khan, while certainly skilled, has a glass jaw.

its obvious that even his team thinks so.

The statistics of this latest opponent are embarassing:

    5 ko's in 19 fights

Has fought only once in the last 12 months, in which he scrapped a 6 round split decision against an opponent with 12 losses from 29 fights, who was KO'd in 3 rounds in his next fight after Kristjansen.:patsch

That chin could not have improved at all, in the gym, it must still be pure bone china.
