    i forgot how close this fight actally was, khan was very close to losing against a c level fighter at best

    I've seen fighters going back down on one knee and beating the count before, but going back down on 8? The count would be past nine before he even started to rise again, surely? The count seemed to just tail off after 8.....

    I think he was still a bit unsteady when he took the knee - it certainly wasn't planned IMO.

    It was a long count admittedly, but you have to give credit to Amir for showing desire to finish him off in the next round.

    Means jack **** if you win most rounds and you get KO'd. Amir did get a favourable count and nothing you say will change that.

    Remember when Herol Graham was boxing the pants off Julian Jackson ? One KO punch changed things.

    I think most rounds in the Graham Jackson fight were 10-8 for Herol.

    Correct me if I'm wrong......

    After 3 rounds 1 judge had scorred it 30-26 and the other two 30-27.

    Upto the KO Graham put on a pure exhibition.
