    Hello all.

I need to find out what Amir weighs between fights. Any of you got any idea? I've heard it's between 150-155lbs.

KO-KING in the general forum said it was about 149lbs.

I wonder what Ariza will do with that extra 7lbs? I hope its pure power.

He weighs 148-151 pounds going into camp.

I even got his weight right when he asked to guess it on Twitter during camp, but I didn't win the damn ticks!

If he's only 11 pounds or so over the LWW limit going in to a camp, why is he thinking of a move up to WW so soon?

Is it all money and chasing the big fights related?

It doesn't seem like a lot to lose during an intense camp, and he might possibly lose some of his advantages at a higher weight class?

So his walk around weight is 150ish? So when he goes up to welterweight, he's gonna be tiny. What's his weight when he gets in the ring? I'm guessing around 150 as well or does he put on more?

 Sorry mate, just woke up an hour ago. Had the worst sleep in a while.

That's what I don't understand. If he's walking around at about 150, why is he in a rush to go to 147? Supposedly, he was a little drained for the McCloskey fight, but having to lose 10 pounds is nothing. The man said himself that he could lose that easy, but they maintain about 148 pounds during camp.

Well, according to him, his power is being cut because he's having to make 140, but I can't see him carrying the little power that he does have, up. Yeah, he probably would. I could see his speed being affected. He's slowed since moving to 140 pounds. If you check his fight with Barrera, he seemed a lot faster (to me) with the punches. Going to 147 might only make it slower, but then again, he's going to probably be putting on Muscle, and Pacquiao hasn't exactly slowed down by any means and that guy's put on about 40 pounds since he first started his career.

Yep, just talked about it above.

He weighs about 149-151 going into the ring. He doesn't blow up after fights, according to him and pretty much maintains that.

I don't think he'll be tiny because he does have a very ideal body frame for it. If you check some of the pics of him and McCloskey and see the comparison, like this one:

You can see how much of big frame Amir really has. I can see that 7 pounds making him a lot sturdier, but his power won't really come into effect, in my opinion.

    Nice one!

Yea i think your rite Laz. The key for Amir is speed if he looses that its game over! One thing i have notice about about. H enever plants his feet before landing his shots! H eis constantly moving he does the same on the mits as well. The one time he plants his feet he sends Maidana to the floor. Ill post a few videos.
