I don't think the whole fight was some cleverly orchestrated masterplan from Garcia, I think he's ordinary. None of that matters at all though. You can fight how you like if you knock the guy out at the end of it.

Well it was level going into the round 4, 10-8 for the knockdown in round 3...

assuming Khan got to the end of round 4 that would have been a 10-7 round...

My bad, I thought you meant up until the knock down which is when the fight was effectively over for Khan

Although Khan looked good offensivly in the first 2 rounds, he was still being countered quite a fair bit.

any fighter is very much in the fight when he can land on khan and danny garcia was landing in rd 1, rd 3 body shots were a turning point, khan felt them started to plant his feet more and got sparked because of it, amir is clutching at straws which is understandable

    Lucky punch?

Lucky for Khan that it wasn't a few inches to the front to land bang on Khan's chin as he would have been knocked clean out.

Garcia looked composed in the first 2 rounds, he wasn't being overwhelmed or bothered by Amir's power at all.

Danny was getting flustered, the knock down came against the direction the fight was heading. His shots were becoming progressively wilder, he missed a fair few-check the compubox numbers. Danny wasn't looking where his punch was heading, he certainly wasn't aiming for the neck.
It of course wasn't an illegitimate win unless you want to make the case of that hook being classed as a rabbit punch, landing on the back of the neck, but it certainly was a lucky win.

Some of you khan haters are a bunch of jokes just like the poster, pricks more like.

Khan outclassed garcia until that wicked left hook which ended the contest. Garcia would never be able to outclassed khan, caught him with a big shot credit to him.

I am not going to be derogatory, but genuinely to call that lucky suggests you don't really know what you awe talking about. He was missing by small margins because He was getting khans speed, the counter left he threw was just about perfect, he waited on khan throwing the right, slipped whilst remaining safe and delivered a solid counter left, perfectly timed to just about the perfect area. Textbook.

Somebody else posted but I can't remember who you are... sorry

anyway listen to the first minute or so

"he (Khan) doesn't have good timing"
"he (Khan) reaches with his punches and leans in"
"I could walk him down (like Peterson) or catch him on the outside with good timing or good counter shots"

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-zyrI1Zr0"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1-zyrI1Zr0[/ame]

Garcia and his team knew Khan inside and out and knew exactly what Garcia had to do, let Khan lean in and time the counter shots. nothing lucky about it.
