  1. Khan is domestic level at best.

He should come home and try work his way up to a shot against theothpane

He should also leave hunter as hunter won't waste two minutes on bum like khan, not when he has possibly the greatest ever in ward

people have a tendency to go to extremes of message boards. from being one fight away from money mayweather to now being domestic level at best.

personally i think khan is somewhere in between. he's not elite like mayweather or pacquiao.

but he can certainly mix it with the likes of bradley, peterson, maidana, matthyse, ortiz and garcia. not saying he wins all those fight, in fact he probably is ko'd by matthyse and would be a great fight with ortiz - but to say he's domestic level is an indication of some bias.

You need to just see his brief history - ko'd by a nobody who kevin mitchell schooled, but then being able to scrape past and give good accounts against many former champions kotelnik, judah, mallignaggi.

it's best to say he's very vulnerable due to his "style" and mindset as well as his well publicised punch resistance issues. He definately draws good money do estically due to his fame at olympics and media profile as well as the ethnic angle he brings. and he will certainly be in some good exciting fights in the future with good high level opposition. His fights maidana and a juiced up Peterson were contenders for top 10 fights of the year. So brings a lot to the table and I definately like watching his fights. That may change if he becomes a safety first type spoiler - but doubts it's in his DNA to be like that

At least that would be honest instead of spouting crap. We a lll saw what happened and there was no luck involved. Garcia time him beautifully and that was all she wrote. True warriors don't make excuses. I don't remember Olusegun Ajose making excuses after losing to Matthyse. Quite the contrary actually commending him for doing well and we all congratulated each other. A bit of humility from Khan would work wonders instead of idiotic comments like : "if we had the defence we should have had we would be the best fighter in the world. Manny and I are the best offensive fighters in the world". What is actually sad is that this idiot actually believes what he is saying.

Sometimes you can gain in defeat but frankly Khan's loss to Garcia was a disgrace and displayed an alarming lack of ring IQ amongst other things. Had he owned up and admitted he messed up I would have more sympathy rather him blaming everyone but himself. Why is it always the trainers fault. I am no fan of Freddie Roach but remember when he was being commended for the improvements made to Khan. That Khan should have been able to beat Garcia on points and could not is truly terrible. Garcia is a good young fighter who is not the finished article and is actually improving. What makes anyone now think Khancould conceivably win a rematch.

You people **** me off, 'check the numbers', yeah they always tell the whole story don't they?

Garcia not only knew what he was gonna do, he ****in' told the whole world before the fight. He told the world how and why they'd wound Khan up, what Khan was gonna do early on, and what was gonna happen. And he was only a minute or two out with his fight prediction too. I don't care what anyone, anywhere says - Danny Garcia read Amir Khan like a children's book.

It has to be said though, if khan had a better chin he would have shook off that bomb and been able to fight his way back into the fight. He was also far more hurt by the initial knockdown compared to the last one and seemed to have recovered somewhat. This might be it for khan where he isn't quite good enough to dominate at the top level but can mix it with top 10 fighters. I think he should give it one more go and slowly rebuild with Virgil. Maybe take paulie's belt at 147?
