Okay. On every article which say Amir Khan will fight JMM, I always see comment saying "He's ducking Maidana, he's going to fight old pushover fighters"

Okay, at first, I thought, I also want Khan to face Maidana, but what will it prove?

We know Khan's chin is suspect, and a CHIN CAN'T IMPROVE, so why put him in with a Knockout artist? For Khan that is a worst nightmare.

Even if Khan wins, he would be on the defensive, avoiding shots. So what would it prove if he doesn't get hit? Everyone would say "Oh Khan didn't get hit so he's still the same"

The Maidana fight wouldn't prove anything skills wise! - Everyone knows Khan would outbox Maidana easily.

So what reason do people want to see him in with a KO slugger?
To see him get knocked out?

Khan isn't scared to fight anyone - Hence why he's going in with JMM

Why would you want to get in with a knockout artist if you know you can't take a punch? - That would just wreck his career.

So for a guy that doesn't take a punch too well, I actually commend him for taking a great counter puncher like JMM.

What's your reason on why you want to see the fight?

Because Maidana is a pressure fighter - Khan needs to learn how to fight one of these if he wants to rule the division. Last one he went in against was Prescott, we know what happened there. The other pressure fighter before that was Michael Gomez (a shot, blown-up Gomez at that) and he floored Khan and had him hurt a couple of times.

I rather see maidana-khan then marquez-khan....and frank warren is right, even if khan wants the fight, it will appear maidana is being ducked.....

I think it's clear khan is chasing money, and trying to pad his record with aging legends, then all of a sudden he will go for a super-fight to cash-out.....Khan could do himself a big favor by facing maidana....otherwise, people will think his carear is smoke and mirrors...

Don't try and use Prescott as an example of a pressure fighter. Amir Khan was badly trained for that fight, they had NO research or evidence of Prescott and it was an extremely bad match-making decision and Prescott has been shown up as a overrated knock-out fighter who can't even box now anyway. And if you are going to call Gomez blown up, why don't you actually look at the other point that Amir Khan was draining himself at 135? A point that has been stressed and made numerous times by Roach and Alex Ariza. But clearly somebody is only willing to look at one side of the story. Amir Khan has improved a lot under Roach and will continue to improve, his speed and footwork would be too much for Maidana, who was already beaten by the guy Khan beat for the world title, in the first place. Amir Khan would win this fight with his speed, it would be a scary fight to watch, but he would win it. And I think he would also use his speed, youth and decent power to beat Marquez. Especially at 140 where Marquez is considered not to be at his greatest.

I'd like to see Khan/Maidana. It's just guaranteed to be a good fight. Both have been down a few times before and could potentially knock the other one out.

Bull**** that they didn't research Prescott - Rubio, his trainer at the time, was in the corner of Prescott's previous opponent and if Sky managed to grab some tapes of him for their build up shows I think Khans team could have picked up the same tapes and studied them.

Amir Khan weight-drained? Maybe he was, but there isn't any solid evidence of that - his performance against Barrera and ***an at lightweight after the knockout to Prescott don't show Khan with any signs of being weight-drained. However, there is evidence of Gomez being blown-up and also being shot, yet he still took Khan into the trenches.

Kotelnik controversially beat Maidana, and remember styles make fights - Kotelnik's was perfect for Khan's style, Maidana's isn't.

Also, I am a Khan fan - just thought I would point that out :good

Man, Khan's glass jaw would get shattered bigtime - which is why you're unlikely to see this fight unless there is a HUGE payday attached to it.
