Just saw highlights of Mccloskey's fights.

This would be one of the biggest mismatches in British boxing, close to the epic failness of Haye/Harrison.

Mccloskey hasn't faced a single fighter who can use a jab as effectively as Khan or with hands as fast as Khan's. Not to mention Mccloskey's conditioning is not up to par with a world class opponent and his legs look very weak.

Can you imagine if he gets hit by the bodyshot combo that took down Maidana?

Top O' the mornin'(or evening, whatever) to ya lads.

Khan by schooling. Khan is all wrong for McCloskey. Still though, it's not much worse than Khan-Peterson and would sell better in England.

Isn't Paul already schedule to fight in march and I don't think its a good match up for Kahn way too easy of a fight for him.Protection.:lol::lol:

The guy who he re-tweeted is Saj, his best friend.

    McCloskey has always been considered.

It would be a good GB VS IRE Battle..

I think it'll still be Peterson.

I dont see the problem in Khan having a keep busy defense against a top 10 Lightwelter

Harrison was a fighter who'd choked and failed at a much much much lower level, never made it close to the top, was at the end of his career anyway and despite winning the EBU belt with a shocking KO when behind on the cards, would not have held onto it.

McCloskey is comfortably winning at Euro level, never been beaten, is ranked top 10 in the world. Khan won't be able to knock him out, he hasn'tt got the power. At worst, McCloskey will still make him work hard for 12 rounds to get a decision.

How would McCloskey/Khan be close to as much of a mismatch as Harrison/Haye?

****ing right he is, paulie has always been over-rated, noer rated that high anywayt that he was ev cant believe some people on here had him "outboxing" hatton in their predictions, ricky hatton outclassed him with his jab, and he's famous for getting a beating off miguel cotto. and having a haircut mid-fight

oh and ive never seen this so called "slickster" that people mention when talking of paulie, I seen a very tough guy with extremely limited skills, a guy who was extremely lucky to get anywhere close to world class, and got dominated when he did, except for two good showings against diaz.
