Well there's no question on Roach being a good tactician . . . question is whether Khan can put their gameplan into play once he is under pressure :yep . . . remember that MAB gave JMM problems in their last fight despite JMM being a sound tactical fighter . . . and that's what making this match up intriguing and interesting.

 

Roach has analyzed this fight all fine and dandy but what he forgot to put into the equation is Khans chin. He talks about Pac's success, but lets not forget that MAB tagged Pac quite a few times too and he will tag Khan too. Difference is, Pac puts his hands up in excitement when hit whereas Khan will probably wobble and backup.

I wouldn't rule out a bodyshot KO on this despite all the chin problems, Khan will be so busy protecting his chin he will forget about his body.

 

interesting fight. i lean towards barrera on this one but if reports are true that khan did well on his sparring with pac, he might be capable of pulling a surprise.

 

One thing that Khan doesn't get when he fights MAB as when he sparred with Manny is : HEADGEAR ! Thats jaw is getting tapped !

let's just wait and see if what are roach's plan A and plan B for this fight.

 

Im just surprised that after his first KO loss they pick MAB to fight ..I personally would have thought they would take a tune up so that Khan and Roach could tweak any weaknesses .I don't see with how that can be done in such a short time and against such a dangerous oppoenent .

 

Khan already had a tuneup fight in December.

Well he is not the same fighter that he once was but I don't know who you think Khan is saying he will Ko MAB within 8 rds ..Maybe your flying right now ..

 

Nobody's claiming that MAB is the same fighter that he was . . . but the mere fact that he gave JMM a run for his money is a clear indication that he has still enough to beat Khan.
