Shyt! Barrera is going to tap that ass every which way. I expect to see that chin dangling every which way until Barrera finally ends it!

All things considered I now believe that Khan, being the naturally bigger man, will be able to stop a slow 35 year old Barrera. An accumulation of punches between rounds 8-10 should see the referee step in and wave it off.

A Barrera stoppage is certainly very possible in view of Khan's hitherto porous defence and lack of punch resistance but I'll stick with Khan's greater size, speed and power. It is, however, a very difficult and intriguing fight to call and I might just bite the bullet and pay the £14.95.

Its a tough one to call

It will answer a lot of questions over Khan's future. I'm thinking Khan is stronger and faster but will he be able to cope when Barrera turns up the heat and goes war?

I just don't know, but can't wait to find out!

Also, his part in Hatton-Pacquiao, 'Amir Khan won't be passing on tips to Ricky Hatton':

Amir Khan has warned Ricky Hatton he will not be passing on any tips or secrets on how to beat Manny Pacquiao. Khan faces Mexican legend Marco Antonio Barrera in Manchester on Saturday while Hatton faces fearsome Filipino Pacquiao in Las Vegas on May 2.

The Bolton lightweight, 22, sparred with Pacquiao before his last fight and has the same trainer - Freddie Roach - as boxing's best pound-for-pound fighter. Hatton, 30, faces Pacquiao in a £40million showdown and Khan admits his loyalties will be torn.

He said: "I will be sparring with Manny before his fight with Ricky. They are both mates - both dead funny. "It's going to be hard to know whose side I will be on - I think I will have to stay neutral."

The old warrior Barrera has 12 rounds to land that one bomb to end the fight . . . I'm taking that chance . . . MAB by stoppage. :yep

I don't think Khan will do better than JMM . . . not even close. :D

This is a guesswork matchup. All comes down to how MAB is on the night. I think pac stops Khan but strong posibility Khan outboxes the semi retired fighter and even possibly TKO him.

We all know that there's a question mark regarding Khan's chin but surely there must be a question also on how well Barrera can take a punch from a natural Lightweight as I don't think Barrera has ever fought at Lightweight has he?

Khan power and speed has never been tested at this level. He looked good against so,so,so. Looked terrible against Presscot.I dunno how good he is TBH.YEah hes fast.Do not understimate barrera punchin speed. He can rattle combos that could rattle Khani boy. I think Barrera will pressure Khan'and Land something feirce. Barrera KO.

Well at least is a very interesting fight, taking on MAB in his 2nd fight after the 54 second loss. It is very unusual and risky. And smart thinking from Warren. Khan needs to proove he can do it against a past-it former elite fighter, because if he can't, it's ouvah for his title hopes. So people who hate Khan, his religion, etc. (and there are MANY who want his brain all over the floor), will tune in. Also average viewers who don't have an opinion on him, but remember Barrera-Hamed. And of course MAB and Khan fans.

And don't forget of the undercard. Maccarinelli's 2nd CW title try (pretty mediocre opponent), and Cook-Martinez, which can be a war. That's easily better than the Pavlik/Cotto or the upcoming Latin Fury PPV. Good enough to buy it? Yeah, it's a personal decision, but put it this way: this is probably the last Khan PPV at this stage of his career. Or ever.

You're wrong. Khan is coming out from a TKO 2 win over Oisin ***an 22-4 last December while Barrera is coming out of wins from two crappy fighters, Sammy Ventura, 25-10 (W, L) and Freudis Rojas 1-7-1. I think Amir has a chance of beating old fogey, Marco.

That's true but you can't deny that Barrera also went the full distance with the current P4P king and also went the distance with the current #2 P4P Marquez in a fight many though Barrera won and also scored a knockdown.

Khan's last two fights were ***an, a circus of a fight that was and then Prescott, which isn't far from a circus either.
