possibly the only countrys i not heard booing(on tv) is eastern euro,im sure the crowds are wind up. i know what you saying dan,but ive heard mayweather boo'ed before,BUT a lot of the fans who do boo are possibly footy thugs, who in my little mind are nowt worth getting worried about anyhow, just say boo back and most wud run off:lama:lama:lama err on there lamas
There a **** for booing a man who puts his life on the line getting in the ring for their entertainment thats how !
Khan said it was a tragedy and he hoped people could move on and not discriminate against Muslims, no? He may have put it in more eloquent terms, but I think I've basically summed it up. So if an Irishman had said after an IRA bombing "What a tragedy, I hope Britain doesn't hate all us Irish folk now" you'd hate him? Brilliant. On a side note, I don't think the hate for Khan is racist, it's arsehole-ist. People who don't like arseholes just don't seem to like Amir Khan, go figure. I do think it's shite that British fans are booing the wee man when he's in America though. Support our own, always!
what do you mean? thats a broad-brush attitude there.. In other words, you think because they are mostly white, they are racist? The bottom line is, if Jame Degale was up there too, he'd have got booed as well and it's because he's waaaaaay to famous for fighting nobody and for not taking any risks whatsoever in his manufactured career.
Apart from being an arse at times..Khan also suffers from being put in the same category as Naz or is likened to Naz at least - This is done by all the casual fight fans and those with little knowledge about the sweet science. As most of these footie type fans see Naz's image as a cocky twat who got rich had an accident and got what he deserved in the ring....They liken Khan to Naz as he has brown skin, and also had an car accident and is also getting a lot of fame and money at a young age
Khan will get hated for many reasons until he is finished for being a Pakistani and Muslim and also for things he says. This is a boxing website we are boxing fans. Most of us will only judge him solely on what he does when he steps in the ring. Let them boo him, its harsh but they are just a sad bunch.
