Let's be honest though BE... They are good fighters, not great. But my question is even if Khan cleans them all up will he still just have the haters saying he had it made for him?

I was impressed with the way he handled Judah. That was a thorough domination, like 2 different class of fighters, and judah is no scrub. Khan is a super hyper fighter, and to my eyes, does everything faster than anyone I have ever seen. He also was patient in that fight which I think shows he is thinking and trying even with high level gifts/speed. He does at times seem to act a little arrogant which I think might be a bad sign of future over confidence and bad energy in general. He's been called chinny because of his knockout loss but he has taken some good shots since then and dealt with adversity successfully. I think he could be great if he keeps improving, working on his weaknesses, and does not let this stuff get to his head.

In green: But...that's exactly what I said. That I wouldn't call any of the great, but it's a very deep pool of good, and that's very far from a bad bunch.

In white: That's what haters do, my brother. For any fighter. No use worrying about them. Skeptics can be converted. Haters won't be. He had plenty of skeptics change over the past year though, I think. ...****, it, I'm one of them. If you can't even admit that he's not a delicate flower who's been protected or whatever, by now, then you're just a **** and you're probably not going to give him credit for anything anyway. :D

I didn't answer the poll question. If anything, I'd say he can become great, as right now, I think he's "very good" with flashes of spectacular and flashes of sloppiness. But, unlike that poll option, I think he can fail too. I've seen it happen many times. He's on the fast track, but sometimes it doesn't take much to derail you. Pac, Martinez, Mayweather, none of these guys are going to be around that long, I don't believe. When they go, Ward, Khan, guys like that, they're moving way up. I don't think Khan ever gets in, say, Donaire territory, but we'll see. He's still a kid, really. He's got time. Maybe quite a lot of it.

No, a ***** would avoid Khan to fight Willy Blain, not avoid Khan to try and ensure a Pacquiao fight.

Depends on how you judge greatness

Will he make it into the Hall of Fame? I think he probably will.

Will he become an ATG? No I don't think so.

I think he will win titles at Welterweight and maybe even Light Middle but I don't think he will be mentioned in the same breath as the true greats of the sport.

I'm a big fan of Amir, he does at times say some stupid things, but I think he seems like a decent lad. I just still worry about the chin as he moves up in weight.

Would Terry Norris be considered a great? Not for me

He was more talented than Amir IMO.

Maidana didn't KO him, but it has been by far Khan's hardest fight at 140. I don't think Khan's hardly lost a round against anyone else. ( I still think style wise Maidana has the best chance at 140 of beating Khan)

Khan has already had a good career, the question is now how well will he do at 147?, we shall see.

Hell be another Lennox Lewis. Clean out the division, beat everyone is to beat, make a few slip ups and and then correct them. But people will still never give him the credit he will deserve.

IMO he will be replacing the Mayweathers and Pacqiaos soon enough. Hes got a big fanbase

He'll never be great until he beats great fighters who aren't 5 years past their best.He has great skills, marvellous handspeed and seems to have found a way tp prevent his rather suspect chin from being exposed too often. However the guy has developed a very poor attitude and has become a PR nightmare. All of which is a shame because he was a fine young man with a very humble outlook before he went to Freddie Roach and ironically, became a much better fighter.Shame it meant sacrificing his old attitude and losing the ability to think before speaking.I think he'll win belts right up to light-middle.Will he become a true great, not on what I've seen yet,but that could change in the next three years.(Doubt it though)

It looks like the majority thinks that he will win titles but not be a great.

People are saying he needs to beat a great, to be considered one. But which fighters are there in and around Khan's division that can be classed as great (other than Pac and May - two men who are top 40 ATGs that Khan has practically no chance of beating)?
