There's always a chance of Khan getting sparked in any of his fights (probably barring the Salita fight), but IMO he's also capable of boxing the ears off 99.9% of professional boxers.

Now he's got the best trainer in the world on his side (no offence to Olly Harrison) and a less gung-ho approach in the ring he seems alot more settled and a fighter who's happy with his style.

I think Khan will go onto BIG BIG things, I can't wait to see him in some BIGGER fights. I'm not a fan of this Salita fight as Salita 'couldn't crack an egg' which makes him an ideal opponent for Khan. I thought Maidana (the Ortiz conqueror) was his mandatory????? :think ...... that would have made for a much more interesting scrap

If he can bring a some more power into his punches he can really be a dangerous prospect in his division. He's not gonna be a KO artist for sure, but you have to play to your strengths, and his is speed. From what Roach was saying post Kotelnik, I think he wanted Khan to pressure Kotelnik more late on and try and hurt him a little more. Hopefully we see this against Salita.

Thing is, he is training with one of the best around in Manny....his chin at the moment is not able to absorb powerful punches, and he will never have a chin like LaMotta BUT he can ehance this, by fighting top fighters in sparring and constantly taking risks in fights.......it either breaks or makes a fighter.

Look at Haye, he is constanly taking risks.......he could easily sit back and not take on the Klits but he will have a go.

Amir has a decade or more to learn more about inside fighting, increase his mental abilty to absorb punches and increase neck strength.

PROBLEMS happen when your wrapped in cotton wool.....you never learn as you get away with your mistakes.
