he would draw much better on the east coast.. look at peterson-khan numbers.. it's garcia who didn't draw... khan is a better draw than all but 5-7 boxers. this is that hater ****.
i watched him live in manchester and there wiere 15000 people there watching. what ever he earns in america. probably a million. he earns another million from uk money and another from ****stan. he's definetly a worldwide draw
TS might be coming across as too aggressive against Khan fans, but the idea that he's a big draw in the States is absolutely something that's been pushed by both Golden Boy and HBO in the recent past. The absolute worst was when they tried to make it sound like taking Peterson on in DC was some kind of noteworthy honorable decision revealing Khan's bravery and champion mentality when it was done with the sole goal of maximizing income after a disappointing gate vs. Judah.
Sure, they crunched the numbers and came up with a viable place/opponent and it made business sense to do so. But you're saying that fact negates that Khan: the draw, the money, the hbo fighter, didn't do something pretty noteworthy by accepting a fight in the opponents back-****ing-yard? Hell, I'm impressed that they were able to sell 3000+ tickets in Vegas vs. relatively unknown Danny Garcia. A fighter from England and a fighter from Philly go to the desert and still draw an okay crowd? Doesn't seem that bad to me, but then again, I like to think that I can view a situation objectively.
Go to google trends and compare him to guys like Cotto, Alvarez, and Mosley and he apparently is being searched a lot for some reason.
Unfair to judge his draw on this fight when there was a big domestic fight happening on the same night. Plus he was coming off a lose and a lot of excuses
