Don't listen to what those idiots on the GF are saying, young Darni.

Who exactly are these "slick fighters"? You see the term slick is over used these days, because people don't know the meaning of it. I definitely know the difference and you should too. You see, speed is the not the prerequisite for being slick that's the mistake people make. People should be more careful about the term because it definitely gets used in the wrong context.

Slickness is being able to draw and counter, making someone miss and pay and mix offense with defense. Now tell me what fighters can do that today, much less at 140 and those that Amir will have to beat? Bradley is the closest thing to being slick without being one, Alexander is not slick, Peterson? no way. Berto? fast not slick, same with Mosley.

I'll give you examples of guys who I feel have some slickness to their game. Donaire, Martinez, Hopkins and Mayweather.

Since I started posting on here I have seen two posts of yours. One where you thought ricky hatton had fought craig wason, and one calling me a *****.

Rather than resort to petty insults, why not break my post down and school me?

Why not point out my flawed logic?

The vast vast majority of rematches go the way of the victor. There are some that won't, and some that will. I see khan getting knocked out again by prescott.

Now are you here to debate boxing or are you here to troll?

Really ????? Khan was fighting at Lightweight when Prescott knocked him out ? Prescott lost to Kevin Mitchell since then ?

If Khan fights Prescott again I reckon Khan destroys him ?:good

Khan would destroy Prescott. Prescott isn't at Khans level. Prescott isn't as bigger puncher as Maidana and Khans career has moved on dramayically since that fight.

I would be very surprised if khan destroys him. He didn't beat maidana with great defensive technique, it was with speed and heart. He allowed maidana to back him onto the ropes and just took his shots. If he did that vs prescott he gets knocked out imo. Would he have the discipline to fight the that mitchell fought against him? I'm not sure, he still fights with his heart on his sleeve.

Paul Mccloskey would be a horrendous choice, he would be massively outclassed. Peterson is a very acceptable stay busy fight but neither prescott or murray have done anywhere near enough to get a shot at this time, especialy at 140. Marquez would be perfect as it would be the most competitive choice and would mean he wouldnt be fighting morales

Khan is not the same fighter who fought prescott the first time that must be obvious to everyone, he ran out and got caught by a big punch cold thats all that happend he was young, reckless and starting to believe his own hype. He learnt a hard lesson but its paid off ultimately as we can see. Hes far from perfect but atm he destroys prescott with ease. Im coming round to this fight only for the fact he can have the lewis thing of "beat everyman who stood in front of him"

I can't decide whether or not Katsidis be a good opponent, being a heavy-handed pressure fighter - albeit a lightweight - he has the sort of style that may give Khan problems. The more experience he gets fighting guys like that the more comfortable he'll be. But then Khan's a level above Katsidis in terms of ability and may just blow him out of there in a couple of rounds.

As for Prescott, well the only reason for Khan to face him is to avenge that loss. Worthless fight otherwise, he just beat a bigger, better and harder-hitting version of Prescott in his last fight, facing him now is a step backwards. It's a sellable fight in the UK though so I suppose it makes some financial sense.

Judah would've been a good choice... would've given him some trouble for a few rounds and given him some good experience against a southpaw, which would come in handy should he face Alexander. Good name on his record too. Khan vs. Marquez would be decent as well but then there are question marks over JMM's ability to fight above 135.

Looks set to be Peterson, which I wouldn't really mind.

I gotta feeling this is gonna be Prescott. They can market it to the general public as a revenge fight with a guy who kod him in rd1 (they probably wont even know hes been exposed yet and still think hes the goods).
Its a lower risk fight than some of the others mentioned as Khan wont be stupid enough to walk straight into his punches and will box his head of for 12 rounds or whatever it takes to KO him.
Khan gets to eradicate his loss and if he takes a few punches on the way he can talk about how he has a much better chin at light welter than at lightweight.

If not itll be peterson as i think theyll try and build the ortiz fight for later down the line (if he dosnt screw up again)

They should make the Ortiz fight asap.

Victor just doesn't have it, no point having him lose to a nobody in a years time and denying him the payday of a Khan fight.

Chances are that Prescott stops him quicker. A guy who has stopped another guy is more likely than not to do it again.

I disagree. I reckon Khan would eat McCloskey for breakfast. Still love to see Dudey get a crack at him. I wonder if those two ever sparred? :think
