I think Brook & Khan jerk each other off behind closed doors. That's what was happening in tenerife.

Lmao perfectly said. As a one time khan fan, I agree about the handspeed. He thought that was going to get him through every single fight. He should have worked with mayweather sr as his offense was never really the issue, its his terrible defense and every time he throws a punch he's wide open.

You're delusional lol. Stop brook? It'll be the other way around. Only thing that will frustrate brook is hand speed and thats all amir khan literally has.

Prescott was not a big puncher neither is Garcia.

Since Garcia beat Khan who has he stopped?

Beefy is nowhere near as skilled as brook. Brook isn't fighting him as what's the point? Smith with no belt does nothing for Brook.

Khan has one of the worst chins in boxing history. He's the only fighter I can think of who has eaten the canvas at every level of their careers.

Watson, Limmond, Gomez, Drilzane, Prescott, Diaz, Garcia, Canelo....the list goes on.

If he faces Brook, a vastly superior fighter, he will lose by brutal KO. Khan has no chance in this fight, none. He's never been a champion or beaten a champion. Brook actually fought an opponent to get his belt, where did Khan get his? lol.

Khan is a Glass Jawed fraud.

He needed to go back to go live in Cuba or something coz those guys know about defence. Amir's biggest problem is he has success early with his handspeed and thinks the fight will continue that way whenever he gets in with a guy with timing like Canelo, Garcia and Maidana, once they work out his speed coz its always quicks 1-2 he gets pummelled from then on.
He's reaction to being clipped is also a big flaw he tries to bang it out whenever his hurt, he has no survival skills like moving around, clinching or smothering just survive the round, he usually just tries to throw leather with the other guy when he gets tagged with a big shot and that usually ends up with him getting dropped.

You favour Khan and Beefy against Brook. Beefy I can see coz his a heavier guy and he looked to be getting the better of Brook in the sparring but Khan the gate keeper is the underdog considerably. He was rocked by Chris algeri ffs, Ive never even algeri rock anyone.

When Prescott fought Khan, he was 19-0 with 17 KOs. (Prescott won his first 13 bouts by KO) Prescott was a big puncher and a top prospect at the time. That was 8 years ago. Prescott isn't the same fighter now he was then. Neither is Khan. Prescott lost a bunch of fights and became somewhat of a journeyman. At the time he was seen as a top prospect, physically imposing and a big puncher.

Garcia isn't the biggest puncher out there, but he's a bigger puncher than Kell Brook. He's certainly more skilled at throwing hooks than Kell. Brook is a more fluid boxer than Garcia and more defensively skilled in many areas, but Danny Garcia has more offensive firepower. Brook has more KO's, but Garcia has fought the higher level of oppposition. Garcia doesn't really try to get KOs, but if you are over aggressive like Khan was he can land big punches. Remember when Khan fought Garcia, he had just come off being pretty much robbed vs Peterson. One of the reasons Khan was so over-aggressive vs Garcia was because he was trying to win every round clearly with the Peterson decision (some would say robbery) in his mind.

Danny really hasn't had the opportunity to land those types of big punch on other opponents because he hasn't really fought fighters that were trying so hard to out volume you like Khan was. I'm not saying there's really anything definitive to point to statistically or otherwise that proves Garcia is a bigger puncher than Brook, but I think it's a reasonable conclusion based on what we've seen from both fighters given their level of opposition and fight styles.

I actually think Beefy vs Brook is a competitive match. Brook hasn't got an inside game and one thing about beefy is he brings the pressure. I agree with your opinion about the smith brothers, they are tough guys but there all just come forward guys with the exception of stephen maybe. Can't wait for Degale to end the Callum hypetrain.

Yes this is very true and one of Khan's problems. His chin held up well against Maidana though. The Peterson decision derailed his career to an extent. In terms of his survival skills, that's only really been tested in a handful of fights. Against Canelo, he had no chance to test his survival skills as he was out cold. Against Garcia he was badly badly hurt by that punch, tried to fight on but couldn't. (when you're that hurt there's no much you can do) I do think he showed decent survival skills against Maidana, but in his 3 KO losses he was hurt so bad by the punch that no amount of survival skills can really help you at that point.

I just think we are discussing two boxers on entirely different levels. Beefy is solid but, in my view, Brook is exceptional. He'd time Beefy with his right hand all night. But let's get it made some time and find out...

Brook vs Smith was actually being discussed before they ended up fighting GGG and Canelo respectively. If It got made back then, literally everyone other than some diehard Khan fanboys would've picked Brook to win. Some GGG haters and Canelo fanboys might have a different opinion about it now though.

I really like Kell Brook, but I just don't know how his eye is doing, and to me that's a big question mark for him. I don't know how he rebounds psychologically form the Golovkin stoppage. We're not going to know how well Kell can take a punch until he gets hit, but I didn't like how bothered he was by the eye vs Golovkin. As big of a puncher as Golovkin was, it didn't look like Kell was ever rocked hard, but yet he was complaining about the eye. That's mainly why I lean towards Beefy and Khan if they were to fight Brook in early 2017. I also didn't like how Kell Brook decided not to utilize his advantages (boxing counter punching skill) vs Golovkin and instead decided to just stand there and trade with Golovkin. To me, that fight changed my view of Kell Brook, as someone who I admired as a skillful boxer who just threw that all out the window and went toe to toe with the biggest puncher in boxing instead of being smart and going the distance. At least Amir Khan (vs Canelo) had a smart gameplan and tried to implement it on Canelo, and was winning rounds. For Kell Brook to just decide to stand there and trade with Golovkin instead of trying to outbox didn't seem very smart. I'm not really questioning Brook's heart, I just remember feeling really gutted after watching him fight Golovkin, not because he lost, but because of how he fought the fight and how it ended. With Khan (vs Canelo), I left more satisfied, feeling like Khan really went in there and tried to box Canelo's socks off but just got caught with one punch. I was also gutted for Beefy (vs Canelo) because I felt like he could do much better. It wasn't that he fought the wrong gameplan, it was just that he didn't execute it the way I thought he could have.

Bones heal stronger than they were before they were broken, so physically the eye will be fine. I take your point re: psychological scars but he seems a tough nut to me. Brook obliterates Khan. Amir has slipped a lot in the last couple of years, and he lacks the dedication to make the most of his talent. And then there's that chin...
