I wouldn't look too much into the tactical effectiveness as Alexander's style makes him a sitting duck by default. It was the only gameplan.

 

I mean... I would give more credit if the pre-fight question was what is Khan going to do to neutralize yadda, yadda, yadda. But Devon Alexander is so fooking basic, so fooking average, that he was going to be a hapless victim against the ambush style. Devon didn't bring anything to the table that had to be taken away (like say a Pacquiao straight left).

 

Put him with a pressure fighter and see if he's improved.

He looked like he did on Saturday vs Judah/Paulie.. when was that 3 years ago or so?

I like the new Khan actually, he looked good against Alexander. I'm still not a huge fan of him but I'll give credit where credit is due. For the record, I didn't doubt him in this fight, I felt he should be the favorite.

 

I think even Brook can unsettle him a bit. I never felt that Alexander was that good.
