I think perhaps Alexander was tailor made for Khan. But still, for him to basically pitch a shutout against a former world champion is damn impressive. Khan appeared more composed and under control than in previous fights. Sure he had similar success against Malignaggi and Judah. But this fight felt different. This video I think really illustrates some tactical and new defensive quirks that Khan is implementing from the Hunter/Ward camp.

I'm amazed at the disrespect Alexander is getting on this board. Maybe he's not pacquiao or mayweather. But he's beaten plenty of guys who basically are just a level below those guys (Maidana, Matthysse, Kotelnik).

Good vid. Khan definitely seems to be learning all the time. Contrary to what some others think, I think Hunter was a good choice of trainer for him.

    deffo a good choice
people was skeptical with the molina fight, and the diaz fight, saying he'd made him worse
in all honesty he'd been with virgil too short a time, for it to have a propper effect
the thing virgil asked for which was for khan to do long camps and stay training be a gym rat, he did, and now its staring to pay off

Sorry but what was that sequence of Holmes vs. Norton showing? I missed the relevance, can anyone explain?

his balance has come on a good bit and hes using angles instead of getting shots off by bouncing and waiting for an ambush which probably took more enegy lookes far more controlled now

    Haven't seen the fight yet

I see some say he was great others say it was the opponent

To me Khan has always been a front runner

Very good when he gets in his rhythm but outside the Petersen fight I can't say I've seen him make a mid fight adjustment or come from behind

Vs Maidana and Diaz he was way ahead when he got caught and lost every round after that

That said vs Maidana and Diaz he took some real bombs and survived
