    :rofl

Its coming on nearly 10 fights ago and the matter has not been dropped! Khan has beaten guys alot better than Prescott yet people still scream his name! May be that mite be the best choice! It may increase his fan base and silence the critics.

    Yea i agree .

Its funny when Pac got knocked out by Torrecampo from a body shot nobody screamed for a rematch and it has done nothing for his legacy and that was about the same fight period as Amir was when he lost to Prescott.

 Should Pacquiao fight Torrecampo? Singsurat?

Should Marquez get a rematch with Javier Duran?

To answer your question, they probably will. I thought they would shut up after Mitchell did a job on him. :dead

With the Bradley fight dead, I'd love to see him fight Matthysse. I think that would be a cracking fight.

As I think Morales will beat Mathysse and Bradley won't face Khan i picked Morales.

There's at least 20 fighters in the 135-147 divisions that are better choices than Prescott, perhaps more.

I doubt it would increase his fanbase much, and he'd receive criticism for cherry picking. I'd be the first to complain, don't think it'd be long before others followed either.

    So what?

He's beaten several easily superior fighters in impressive fashion since.

Did as good a job on Paulie as Hatton did, overcame the man who many picked to stop him in Maidana and made Judah quit.

    :yep Couldn't agree more.

    :yep True again.

So did I, Mitchell is European class at best and made Prescott look like a pudding.

Matthysse would be my choice too, he's more skilled than Maidana and probably a harder puncher too. He beat both Zab and Alexander in my book, and deserves a big fight.

The crucial difference was that Pac was killing himself at the weight. I don’t think he needs to beat Prescott, but he should do. It gets it off his record as a fluke loss and it’s a good thing to say you’ve beaten every man you’ve ever faced.

But that will only last as long as it takes to fight Bradley.

to be fair, i think a match-up with prescott isn't a bad shuot from a business point of view, every casual boxing fan knows amir khan got sparked inside a round by this guy, khan could really sell this one to the general public, which i think he'd sturggle to do against matthyse or guerrero, even if prescott would be a one-sided pointless outing from a boxing point of view

if he gets the chance to fight bradley forget anyone else and prescott is vanquished from his record in my opinion :yep

As long as he keeps his cool. For some reason when he fights in the UK he turns into over impress mode and his boxing skill is ****! Look at the difference in McCloskey and Judah. Completly different leagues in performance terms. He feels the need to push for the knock out all the time just would not be a good idea with Prescott and probably the reason the reason he got knocked out in the first place.

HBO won't have it though. That's why it hasn't happened. **** all to do with "being scared" or whatever else some people would like you to believe.

This is the problem, and why he'd attract criticism.

If Prescott had remained undefeated or beaten somebody half decent there'd be an intrigue. He hasn't, and will lose again to McCloskey.

The only time for a rematch would have been immediate. Once Khan ''beat'' Barrera and Prescott subsequently lost to Mitchell on Sky the rematch was dead.

It'll take a real effort now from Prescott to put himself in line, something he isn't realistically capable of.

People aren't daft, Prescott was thrashed by Mitchell, who not long after was thrashed himself by Katsidis, who not long after that was thrashed by Marquez.

If the Bradley fight can not be made, then Mathysse or the winner of Guerrero vs Madiana is the next best fight at this point.

Hell of a division just by looking at the poll options btw.
