Interesting that Nelson says Virgil hunter told him years ago that khan would never fight Kell Brook

There is no fight if Khan loses to Crawford. Neither of them can lose again before a fight.

khan should just use the wicky hatton cop-out, "I don't want to give him a payday."

Brook has to shoulder some of the blame. He's stuck around for long waiting on khan letting his career stall again. Brooks careers been mismanaged badly from the start. He's deserves better than one good win. Golovkin fight was stupid. Spence equally as stupid making 147. The wasting time early in his career when it was clear it was time to step it up more stupid as was the wasting it further after porter and after Spence.

Just been a waste of a good fighter.

Khans is still worse tho. Can't think of anyone who was regarded so highly in the beginning of his career....who's now just basically an idiot. Was well supported after the Olympics since then he's managed to kill any sort of support he had. From taking on smaller opponents. To blaming roach for the loss to Garcia even when roach continually told him to stop getting greedy against Garcia. To mayweathergate. To avoiding brook and stringing him along for years. He's somehow managed to become almost a hate figure from his stupid games and general silliness.

It’s a duck and it isn’t. A £/$5 million pay day and a world title fight is hardly a duck.

The cynic in me thinks they’ve entered Crawford negotiations with no intention to fight but it strengthens his hand in negotiations with Brook.

You only have to see the body language of Khan when questioned on this fight, and his actions over the years. Despite this being a huge PPV fight, Khan has consistently maintained he has been fighting at a higher level and doesnt want to step down.

This is despite him fighting fighters way below Brook like Samuel Vargas, Phil Lo Greco, Chris Algieri, Julio Diaz, Paul McCloskey, Paul Malignaggi. These are opponents way below Brook in ability and standing from 2010-2018 that Khan has fought.

Khan doesnt want this fight to ever happen, and is going to continue to duck Brook until he retires. Khan's blind hate of Brook has allowed him to justify making less money consistently over the years by ducking this Brook fight, and fighting someone on far less money instead.

Brook needs to suck it up, stop agreeing to stupid time wasting demands and get on with his own career.

Brook was free and Khan was free for a date between September-December.

Khan ended up fighting a complete bum (Vargas) for chicken feed, and Brook is now forced to take a stay busy fight in december because Khan is in "other negotiations"

Now I wonder why that fight didnt happen. We had between September and December when both men were free, no impediments.

Khan's pathological hatred over the years for Brook, has caused him a lighter wallet and caused this fight to never happen. Nelson knows this too.

This. As much as Khan has fought decent opposition and average opposition over the years it's hard to call it a duck if he ends up with Crawford opposite him.

Plus, talk of Khan not fighting Brook at his own personal expense have to be tempered with the fact that Khan has earned a fortune over the years. He's never needed Brook in the same way Brook has needed him.

Hardly ducking when he is fighting a guy who is one of the most talented boxers in world boxing right now.
Anyway, I think Khan is on a power trip and basically trolling Brook the way Mayweather did to him, simply because he can. Khan will always have the Brook fight to fall back on, but other than Khan, what options does Brook have? He has spent his career chasing Khan and putting the champs at 147 and 154 'on notice'.

Let's stop this khan has the Kell fight to always fall back on. It's simply not true.

Loses to Crawford and the Kell fight is done. Fair play to Eddie as he has told khan that the Kell fight won't be there to fall back on. It's now or never!

well he used that in 2016. He has now used every excuse than not saying "NO i dont want to fight him". Right now he has used every excuse.

Despite what Hearn said, if Khan fights Crawford and loses, he can still fight Brook afterwards. Only problems are A.) He will be brutally KO'd yet again v Crawford and may not want to fight again. B.) It cuts his split for the Brook fight.

One of the most blatant and obvious ducks in British boxing.
Khan knows the demand is there, Brook desperately wants it, there's only one person that doesn't.
Most here would favor Brook by KO, and as long as the fight doesn't happen Khan can keep pretending he wouold beat him.

Don’t know if he’s ducking him if he fights Crawford he’s fighting a far superior boxer to Brook
