If Khan actually beats all four of these guys, I hope this thread is revived from death.

 

Are you sure this is Khan? If so, he's just setting himself up to get knocked down again. He's not the biggest name in the division, he's not the most accomplished in the division, and he's not the most talented/naturally gifted in the division. He's beat Malignaggi so now he can beat anyone? Malignaggi is a good name, but outside of that who has he beaten? I like confidence in boxers, but this is just arrogent...especially when they say this sort of shite and they go looking for a smaller boxer in Marquez.

 

I like Khan a lot, but right now he's doing a whole lot of talking and not enough boxing.

I think alexander is the best fighter of these guys and will rise to greatness, but khan also has a good shot as long as he doesn't get hit hard he will be allright

That'd be great. It means all the JrWW guys got together and fought each other. Boxing needs that. If a division that stacked had guys that fought each other instead of having a twitter war like a bunch of ****ing 13 year old girls, that's nothing but good.

 

What he said about making Ortiz quit in the amateurs is interesting. I had no idea Victor had a prior history of being a ***** before the Maidana bitchfest.

 

That stuck out to me too. Had no idea Ortiz had a history. And that was the amateurs too. That means he folded in a hurry.

 

Amir's two different people. Seriously. He's so humbled when he's on a camera and then this **** comes up. He lays out some decent points but it really won't help his fan base.

A yank he'd be huge but who is getting all this hype yet he was previously ko'ed by a b level fighter.At least with UK fighters like Hatton and Calzghe they established themselves against good opponents to back up their hype! Khan is getting way to much hype for taking baby steps!

 

Er no. Hatton and Calzaghe didn't fight anyone relevant till what? they go to their 30th mid fights?

Khan is way way ahead of them in padding terms.

It's because he's a Olympic Silver Medallist and has a lot lot of asian support. Plus due to his sponsors Reebok, he has worldwide recognition in countries you wouldn't even think he'd been talked upon.

That's why he's considered to be the next cashcow of boxing.

 

All I've got to say is talk is cheap and Khan will be knocked cold AGAIN for these statements.

Interesting to read that Ortiz had a history of mental weakness before turning pro

 

He is the biggest name in the division.
He can make a claim to be the most accomplished (Bradley being the other).
I stick by that last statement, although he is improving slowly.
