Amir Khan eyeing all-British fight with Ricky Hatton

Would be pretty pointless.

Witter brings NO HYPE.
The fight would be an ugly one and not very fan pleasing. There would probably be a lot of holding **** and wouldn't be a nice way for Hatton to go out.

Either fight is pointless for Hatton, but if he wants money then Khan is where it's at.

 

Witter/Hatton brings plenty of hype buddy, Hatton has been ducking him for a decade. This fight would be a sell out, PPV success.

 

I'm not sure Khan knows what is best for him either, hanging out with that joke gangster rapper Mr Capone E and his minions.

Possibly, I didn't get out to the MAB fight, only the Kotelnik fight and they were pretty calm in that.

 

Yeah that's what everbody does when they have a bad day. I remember I once got so cross when the gas bill came that before I knew what was happening I had a fully functional extermination camp up and running in the back garden. Needless to say, once I'd had a cup of tea and put it all in perspective I said sorry and everything was ok. Took a while to clean up the ash though.

 

Yeah. They're making some music video **** for his ring entrance. I reckon it's got cringe worthy written all over it from what I've seen.

 

Hatton only thirty one .,.... but miles on the clock. Lifestyle, two big beatings, kos in the gym etc etc.

My guess is he would be no more competitive than Gomez, and Khan has improved since those days.

More relevance .... Golden boy are doing a lousy job with Khan. He should be fighting Maidana, Bradley, Alexander, Katsidis. And he needs to be fighting more than once every seven months. Not good for the fella, either financially or whatever. They thought Khan was big pay-per-view box office. Not in the States he's not. Malignaggi could not even sell out the Garden Theater and ITV were given the fight.

Maybe Hatton makes ppv sense and is a pay day for Khan .... but my advice to Ricky would be don't let the *******s use you. You don't need the money, and you sure as hell don't need another beating. Stay out and enjoy life.

Blair is giving the advance of his book to a war charity (you could argue the war he started!!) and FW is doing his Debra thing again (he's raised the better part of a million for them.) I'd like to see Ricky do something similar. He's high profile enough, and maybe it would give him a greater sense of worth than slogging an ageing body through the gym to get fit for another fight.,

His day was 2005 v Tszyu, and he was never going to get to that level again.

 

Pretty much, from the stills from the shoot Khan looks like an A grade plonker.

 

The only reason Khan is going to be action for a while is that he is fasting for ramadan, I believe. The idea of the Malignaggi fight was to try and increase his name in the states, so in the future he can be a PPV star. Khan is in no desperate need of cash so building for the long term is good for him.
