    i think this is dead, i don't think hearn would walk away as a negotiating tactic and then issue a media statement.

    unfortunatley it seems to be a case that khan had other options and mccloskey had other options too, neither of them really 'needed' each other and their perceptions of a fair pay day seem to have been so far apart that a dela just couldn't be done.

    hopefully they might meet down the line if mccloskey happens to capture the wbc strap. otherwise expect a thread on the classic forum in a few years - "Prime Khan v Prime McCloskey"

    Gonna be interesting to see who they unveil on monday as Khan's opponent.

    Especially with Khans comments today talking about Bradley/Alexander along the lines of "Whichever of them wins it's going to be a tough fight for me.." not the comments of a man with any concerns over his next bout.
