He will never avenge a KO loss. He cruised away from both Garcia and Prescott but had no problems rematching Peterson.

who the fcuk does khan think he is? he looked horrible in his last fight...hell no he looked like garbage in his last 3 fights, him getting a shot ahead of Garcia would be a disgrace but business rules I guess

UK get a home fighter against Mayweather with selling points like avenging hattons loss blah blah

Mayweather does good numbers again with a Low risk fight

Mayweather could get a KO which will look nice on his showtime resume come the end of it

Oh well at least we might get to see khan do the chicken dance again

Khan is delusional. But in my honest opinion I still think Pacquiao would be Mayweather´s best opponent right now. Even though I think he would lose it would be the best battle and a good closure for boxing fans.

I thinke he meant, he had agreed to, and the fight was scheduled to happen before Peterson tested positive.

If Khan looks good at 147 vs Alexander and wins that fight looking good then why not,
Floyd beating up slow flat footed latino fighters is boring now.

khan at it again, before prescott he was looking ahead to cracking america, before peterson and garcia he was already salivating about a possible mayweather fight, now the same again, idiot you have a world class opponent in front of you, focus on that 1st

There is nothing wrong with Khan, it's just fluke lucky punches. Drilzane got lucky, Willie Limond got lucky, Gomez just also happened to get lucky. Prescott fight he was weight drained 'killing himself' to make weight so prescott took advantage, at 140 his body will be fine. Peterson then cheated and was a roided superhuman ( despite having perfectly normal levels of testosterone, failing only because man made testosterone was used and had it been declared prior to the fight would have been fine) , then we have garcia, Khan had the fight pretty much wrapped up ahead on ALL scorecards after 2 rounds leaving Garcia needing a knockout to win and then he got a lucky punch in ending the fight, Julio Diaz then got lucky like the others.

So yeah lets go to 147 (at 140 he's 'killing himself' making weight and he has never been knocked down at 147) and bring on mayweather

though afterwards I suspect he is going to be killing himself at 147 and needs to go to that mythical 153 pound weight that he has never been knocked down at and become lineal champion

    :yep

He will feel a lot stronger and hit harder at 147. I already read that he said he can absorb punches better at the weight. Probably be faster too.

Whats more frustrating is the same stories we get about his training. The breakup with Oliver harrison in 2008 was because harrison tried to get him to stop public engagements while in training. Khan says he is going to focus on training more. After Prescott he joins with Roach and says he's moving to the USA because in the UK he's too big a celebrity and has distractions, in the end he ends up only ever going to the USA for 8 week training camps before his fights. Then this week we have the same story with hunter criticizing his lifestyle.

He's achieved a reasonable career but it's a total waste compared to what he could of been given he was gifted some of the fastest hands in boxing. That silver medal was the worst thing to happen

Khan in 8 years of boxing has only moved up in 5lbs in weight...

This will be his first full welter weight fight... Khan needs to come in the ring at least 155lbs...

Maidana fight proved Khan was weight drained at 135...

Diaz fight proved Khan has over stayed at 140/142
