I think people have lost interest. He won't amount to anything, and will not deliver what he promised.

I was thinking the exact same thing today.

As ive said before im from Bolton and he has been thrown on us like the second coming of Christ, the local newspaper continually had him in their columns, they even made him look like an innocent when he knocked down that guy and through his speeding fines, etc.

Then after he has been ko'd no one gives a fiddlers fart. He is still in the papers but not as much and the people i talk to are glad he got his arse kicked, to be honest i havent come across a single person who actually supports him.

The interest has died down and maybe now he can concentrate on his boxing and maybe win a Euro title.

I'm pretty sure just before and after Khan's next fight they will be a multitude of threads on him

A little hiccup, more like he just does not have a chin. The Khan camp are 100% ignorant about boxing. They were stupid for taking on Rubio in the 1st place and I am glad Rubio fixed up the Prescott fight.

Probably, but from the level at which it is coming from I think we'll see a sharp decline in care levels.

If he loses again it will all be over.

If Amir Khan wants to improve in professional boxing he must learn how to box. The biggest lesson for any boxer making the transition from amateur to professional is how to adapt to the new discipline. Some are so talented that they can go a long way without developing a professional style. Prince Nazeem fell into that category and was competent , and even spectacular, as a pro , all the way to the brickwall that was Marco Antonio Barerra. However, Naz was arrogant and stupid, and was not mature enough to go back to the drawing board and start again. Like Amir he was over-controlled by some family members and had a silly, young man`s obsession with " flash".
Amir, however, seems to be smarter and more modest and has, luckily, hit that wall earlier in his career.
As I said on a different thread , I was at the Wildcard in LA last week and saw Amir and his family leaving as I was coming in. I spoke to Pepper Roach , Freddy`s brother, who told me that when Amir had visited last time he had pulled into the carpark in a limo. A few of the old hands were shaking their heads, as this type of behaviour is greatly disapproved of at the Wildcard, to say the least (when I first visited a few years back Manny Pacquiou was punching the bag next to the local vet, visiting for a quick workout in his lunchbreak)!
This time Amir was on foot and seems to have made a good impression. I spoke briefly to Freddy who had Craig Mcewan on the pads and he said he still really highly rated Amir and that, with work, he could still go far.
Obviously, Amir can`t change his chin but he can improve his defence. Anyone fighting him will be looking to open him up before Amir starts connecting with his own bombs. If Amir can learn to protect his chin, I believe he can still win a world title.I expect him to surprise us all and bounce back. He may lose a few more but he has the type of style which will triumph just when he seems down and out.
Good luck , Amir. The Wildcard is the right place for you.

Watching Thaxton earlier I have to say I cant even see Khan being able to win euro championship while he has it let alone doing anything on the world stage.

Yep,Warren suggested PPV was the only way Khan fights were financially viable.
I doubt Amir would take a pay cut to remove the 'need' for PPV.
Khan was party to the PPV,no doubt.
