If he won a title at Lightweight i might have agreed with you. Should have made the most of his size advantage there imo

It wasn't a stunning upset... big puncher, decent sized lightweight opponent who came to win. Khan was rocked by the jab in that fight.

Thats the point mate, I don't hate Khan. If he does well then good luck to him but I just can't see it. Using the weight as a reason for the poor chin is clutching at straws IMHO.

As I say I genuinely don't care either way where Khan is concerned but all this talk of moving to welter and lt middle when he's getting dropped by the likes of Willie Limond and Micheal Gomez is premature to say the least. He's got his work cut out at 140.....

title holder possibly but actual champion is doubtful

However I would say 2 weight title-holder is realistic

Interesting comments from Freddie though about Amir. Firstly 'if amir cant beat MAB at now, he should retire'. Second one 'I look forward to some great matchups at 140 with amir'. Third 'hes my next champion'. Roach is definately seeing something with khan, he wouldnt give a prospect this much attention if he thought he was crap. The second comment is most interesting, it seems like roach believes khan is ready to take on other champs at 140, he even mentioned marquez the last i heard.

Khans record will probably end up 45-6(6) or something like that but he will be a very good or great fighter.

Highly doubt he'll go that far, looking forward to it. Too many good fighters at 140 and 147, let's see how he competes with those.

Yeah, both 140 and 147 are warzones at the moment.

hearns was chinny bu amir khan takes chinny to a whole 'nother level man. the only was he can win a world titles is if he fights pauli malignaggi type of fighters. i mean, i think valero is way overrrated but he'll put khan to ***** street.

Hearns might have been chinny but had serious power to back the big punchers he fought off, only reason Hagler was able to go in because Hagler's ability to take a punch was proven abnormal that night. You can also see that Barkley was getting sliced to pieces in the first fight before landing the big shot. Hearns had height, reach, serious power and skills, he was able to take it all the way to light heavyweight and cruiserweight. Hearns never got KO'd under 1 minute of the first round against a nobody and not even close, so whoever wants to make the chin comparison or ANY comparison with Hearns can **** off as far as I'm concerned.

IF he wins his next fight, that's as far as he'll go imo. So he'll be a titlist and nothing more.

He'll be able to cherrypick a couple of defences but at some point he's gonna run into someone that will blow him out with ease; look how stacked LW, LWW and WW are atm, it's basically a case of him picking how quickly he wants to get bombed out. "Do I take a round 1 blowout, or should I take a 4 round pasting?".

I dread to think what a Mosely or Cotto would do to him .. (and by dread I mean love to see).

Can't cherry pick and get away with it in a division packed with serious opponents, even the ones they will cherry pick might end up being too much for him like Prescott turned out to be.
