Well who are more deserving then Maidanna? Alot of people said that Broner would outclass, outspeed and outsmart Maidanna and he proved everyone wrong.

Okey let's analyze the welterweight divison (since I'm asuming that's the weight Floyd mayweather will fight at in his next fight)

Manny Pacquaio- Not at the moment if he gets by bradley then yes he's a bigger threat. But then again we both know that his fight won't happen.

Juan manuel marquez - Not by a long shot, didn't win a round in their matchup and lost to bradley.

Timothy Bradley - Maybe but then again has absolutley no chance in winning against Mayweather either. Comes of two major wins in his career and is deservign of a shot if he can get past Pacquiao.


Kell brook - Hasn't really fought anybody yet.

Robert gurerro - Already beaten by mayweather via shutout.

Maidanna - Got a world title, comes of 4 straight wins. Won over the best guy in the divison when the odds where stacked against him.



So just by a quick summary of the divison and the best in it you can hopefully see clearly that Maidana is the most deserving (also the biggest threat)
