Im not going to knock Khan....ive praised him since his turn around from Prescott but lets be real here..

When Khan throws his punches in bunches, many of them dont even land...he hopes that on work rate alone, this might be enough to win should it go the full distance. When he does throw them, he's often off balance. I feel sometimes when his plan isnt coming together, he panic fights..... he may train with Manny...but right now, Manny has a cooler head and a bit more experience and in time, maybe Khan will be a similar fighter but in truth, Mayweather's counter punching would just pick him off.. Khan will grow but i honestly think, his attacking skills wont get much better, his defensive skills had better!

    Great post.

It's a mind set thing, because Floyd has not lost people think he is unbeatable which is never the
case, every dog has his day.

People can say what they like come fight night if Floyd fights Khan he will understand this is a young man's game.

I liked what I saw in the Judah fight, a wider arsenal, spot on tactics, less mistakes, physically stronger. He might never reach Mayweather's level of skills but can he take rounds off him at this stage of their careers using hand & footspeed, jab, fast combos, in-out movement & high guard? Yes he can. How many is the question.

But Ortiz might shock Floyd before Khan, the feeling is growing ever stronger. Like Tarver coming into the Jones fight Vic is the physically stronger and fresher of the two, underrated due to past setbacks when reality is he's more focused than ever and Floyd is coming back with question marks (lay-off) as Roy did (loss of weight). I'd even put a question mark around that 2nd round vs. Mosley, Floyd ended up dominating but those big bombs might've taken it's toll.

Many fighters looked invincible until someone pulled a shocker, no reason to think Floyd is immune to this especially if he keeps fighting these young lions.

Someone as flat-footed, slow, and ponderous as Maidana, was able to have Khan in a life or death situation, simply through sheer determination.

Khan is not anywhere near as technically proficient as Mayweather. And there is no chance of him knocking Mayweather out.

How people think he will beat him (unless Khan dramatically improves, and Mayweather has dramatically declined) I don't know.

If you think sheer speed will be the death of Mayweather then no offence, but more fool you. Because May outstrips him in every single other aspect. By some distance. And he's hardly slow himself. Handspeed difference is negligible imo.

Floyd is far from unbeatable, just there's nobody around (except maybe Pacquiao) that is able to beat him at the weight.

This Khan-loving after the Judah fight is getting silly now

Here we go, pulling out the race card yet again.

Anybody with an ounce of sense knew Khan would beat Judah, only the seriously idiotic thought Judah had anything more than a punchers chance.

You talking about people blowing Floyd up? What? People are saying a young, some-what still inexperienced fighter, has a good chance against a possible future ATG fighter.

Also Khan won't be able to do to Floyd what Shane tried to do, Shane was known as a huge hitter at WW, Khan can't dig that hard at LWW

Khan has a good jab, i agree. The problem is he become's a big too robotic and complacent with it. He throw's it without thinking if he has a bit of success with it, which leave's him open to a straight right hand over the top of it.

Now we all know Floyd love's the old straight right hand

You make good points, and I agree with most of them. Yes, Khan brings a different threat than Ortiz, but this just means he'll be dealt with differently, that's all. The end result will still be the same.

Also, Khan does indeed have a good jab, but he hasn't learned to use it to full effect yet. He sometimes forgets he even has one, especially when he's in his all-out offense mode. And when he does use it, he has a tendency to be a little lazy with it. Floyd will counter the **** out of it, if it's anything but perfect.

Where did I say that speed alone will beat Mayweather?

Boxing is not a game of top trumps where we tot up 2 fighters skills from each department and whoever has the most points at the end wins. It's not that simple. Khan's style is all wrong for PBF, you have to be very naive to think he has no chance of beating him.

Didn't you pick Judah to beat Khan?
