It doesn't say anything about Khan. YOU thought Hatton was shot. It doesn't mean he actually was.

When he fought Paulie, has was fighting under Senior for the first time. And when he won, everyone commented on how rejuvenated he was with the new trainer.

Regardless, it's not as straightforward as comparing the two fights like that. You're not factoring in the difference of styles of Khan and Hatton (a patient boxer vs an aggressive brawler), as well as the form Paulie was in in those two fights. In one it was under the strained tutelage of Buddy where he'd been unhappy for a number of fights, and in the other it was with Sharif (name?) where it was well-known that Paulie was far more comfortable with him, and boxing the way he wanted to.

I believe he has power, its just that he isnt a bludgeoning power puncher and he doesnt quite catch people with punches that surprise him ( a la martinez ). But he can get u outta they're just not a bludgeoning puncher like a Maidana or like Tszyu was.

Well that there, explains it all. You haven't even been following Khan to accurately gauge his attributes. What a joke.

It was after the Kotelnik fight - when Khan adopted the hit-and-move approach - where everyone began calling him feather-fisted fighter for his inability to hurt Kotelnik. The Salita stoppage was dismissed because of the opponent, and then when the Paulie fight was announced, everyone scoffed at the thought of Khan being able to legitimately stop him - somethiing which a monstrous Cotto couldn't even do.

And what does Khan go and do? He stops him. But here we are, dismissing that as nothing, too.

I remember Malinaggi saying he felt he could of went on after the Khan fight he did not kick off but he did feel he could have went on. Mallinagi was able to hold Hatton a lot more because of the difference in reach as well. Don't get me wrong I am no idiot I am 225 pounds and I train MMA five times a week atm and I know Khan would stop me in 1 round in a boxing match. My simple point is that it could be argued his punching power needs to improve a lot before he can become an ATG and I am not sure it can. When you look at ATG's not many have weak chins, I can only really think of Tommy Hearns, but weak chins without pop can spell disaster against fighters who do have good pop and are good at pressuring opponents. Apart from that I think he is all kitted out to go far but can you really see him moving up 2 or 3 weight classes and being the best in each division when his power only seems decent at LWW and his chin seems shaky. Bigger fighters would simply jump all over him and wear him down and tbh at the moment I am not 100% he can clean LWW like some say he can. I'll admit if Maidana is really a good brawler like some say Khan has the chance to prove a lot in that fight.

Well, not that I believe he'll even become an ATG, it's not his power that's lacking for him to become one. His power is ok. It'll serve him well for the style he has.

It's his defence that you need to be criticising. It's this which he needs serious work on. Being good is not enough, it needs to be great if he wants to protect his major flaw - chin.

How can you be re-juvinated going damn near the distance with mallinagi? An C- Fighter.

I....did think Hatton was shot and now so does the world, what happen to him after his poor display in his tune-up fight?

Well I beleive his footwork is ok, but yes he does need to have good power to keep opponents off him. Tomy Hearns was not Mayweather or Sweat Pea but he had great foot work and opponents knew if they put a foot wrong they could e KO'd in a flash and yes Khan does often fight like a brawler, how many fights of his have you even seen? Watch the Michael Gomez fight.
