I only saw his one fight on HBO some months back and I can't even remember his opponent. I really liked his tight, hands held high style and jab but he didn't appear to be that big of a puncher probably partly because of that defensive style.

some of these TKO's were very suspicious, he was just punching with the speed of light, 80% of punches were missing, and the refs were stopping because opponents were covering themselves ... and even some stops were after the opponents start counter-punching .... something like TKO intended for saving Khan from exhaustion

He needs to get pass Madaina The Prospect Killer 1st.

Just off Looks alone off the one fight He has great form and Technique thats why his Jab is very very Heavy, he has excellent mechanics.

Im more impressed with him then Bradley or Alexander.
Seen Dev fight Twice not impressed with his urango win and not impress with that last fight he had.
Seen Bradley once didnt like his debut at welter and I dont like his technique he needs to go back to 140 were they are lighter punches he can get away fighting like that for a while.
I like ortiz but hes a coward but he also has his killer instinct back.
Maidana this guy has Power but lacks alot but actually is my favorite out the bunch his power makes up for all his Flaws because he can end the night.

All in all I cant say kahn is the best in my eyes he needs to beat maidana
but he has the better technique, mechanics, and the better jab he could be the best but we will find out dec 11 reguardless if he lacks power

I’ve seen all of Khan’s fights. He was always a boxer ‘attempting’ to brawl. He was a naive kid who would allow the crowd hype get to him, and go all-out guns blazing. Little did he realize, that’s not what nature built him for. After learning brutally – against Prescott – Roach came along and reminded him of his attributes, and forced him to adopt a style he should have had from the very beginning – to box!

And that’s what he’s been doing ever since......***an, Barrera, Kotelnik, and Malignaggi.....he boxed with all of them. Occasionally he’ll up the tempo and be more aggressive – the Salita fight – but it’s more controlled now. He is, primarily, a boxer.

Same thing I saw. They say he has a weak jaw so his hand will be high.
The best thing about him that I saw that night he kept paulie at the end of his punches, hes tall which is a plus so paulie couldnt get pass his reach, Paulie hit air numerous times. I think he needs to step it up in his power department the speed is there

No, i seriously dont remember hordes of people flooding the forum saying how Khan was going to KO him and KO that, maybe a very small amount of people but nothing that has really stuck in the mind, his advantages lay in the speed in which he punches as you saw against Salita:good

I take it you have only seen a few khan fights where he has not sat down on punches. Go check he early career fights.Trust me he can punch. Not exactly a one punch KO artsit but he can bang. Much like Pac man its usually cumualtive punches that do the damage.

The reasons why he does not KO are:

    A) he does not have 1 punch KO power
    B) when he jumps on a wounded opponent his flurries are so quick that the opponent cowers and this gives the ref reason to stop the fight. Just watch Khan Vs salita as one example.

he's not a concussive puncher, but he doesn't relie on power, he relies on speed. if a boxer lands a hundred punches, then no matter how weak those punches are eventually they're going to start hurting.

KO punches usually come from single punches. He usually throws fast arm punch combos with enough power to hurt but not knock out cold. Also British refs don't help with their early stoppages. The odd time he's thrown a good right hand he's shown he's got decent power.

The Medadji guy was KOed, and I think one other guy.

So you want me to look at his early fights....when he was facing school teachers and parking attendants...and judge his power off that?

Go watch that fight it's on a link further up, it is NOT a KO. His opponent got up and beat the count and seemed on steady enough legs to continue, if you are going to count that you really are clutching at straws.
