Don't think it will be Maidana, I wouldn't mind a rematch coz I think Khan may even stop him this time I know it sounds unlikely but it all depends on what kind of Khan turns up on the night, anyway moving on don't think these will be imposed and GoldenBoy will use all their influence to make sure the rematch doesn't happen (just yet anyway). There will always be a way around this, I will be VERY shocked if its Maidana on 23rd July

We'll know in about 48 hours. If I was a betting man I'd be backing Judah to be the opponent

Most likely will be the case but in all honesty I would not mind Judah, Morrales or Maidana II all are good/decent replacements for the Bradley fight.

I see what you mean and I know Morales will be easier for Khan than it was for Maidana but if Morales causes problems to Khan by outsmarting him then we could see a different angle in this fight and a new level of excitement just like Morales v Maidana, lets be honest not many believed Morales would hang in there let alone cause problems with one eye shut. All I can say is you never know dude.

That's a pretty big maybe. It's just a fight I really don't want to see, regardless of how well he did against Maidana.

I think its going to be Morales because Judah will want a really good payday and the Khans won offer him it.
Its outta those two so im going with Erik.

ide hope khan v judah would happen in july, but the maidana rematch could be ok,people do forget that khan put maidana down in the first round!,maybe khan would improve, and catch maidana again but keep him down for a tko/ko?.

Khan just needs to get judah, bradley fights for the belts, and maidana if has to fight, then move up,no lightweight opponents,no faded legends please.

Not really, Khan was very lucky not to be stopped, if it was Maidana taking that punishment 100% he would of been stopped hardly a joke is it? Maidana deserves a rematch.

No one would of complained if Khan was saved by the ref in that fight.

Fight Judah and win the IBF. If he loses, he would have been without a belt anyway. A unification would have been nice but if the WBA are cocks what can you do.

In fact, I think unifications can push mandatories back.

Before the Morlaes fight I'd have said that I fancied Maidana to be able to pull off the win against Khan, as I'm not convinced he'd be able to rally back from powerful shots like he did the last time. But Morlaes really did make Maidana look amateurish at times. I know Morales is a class act, and it's possible Maidana didn't take him as seriously as he would a top ranked foe, but still.

I do fancy that Judah could frustrate Khan and cause an upset, and I'd bet the house on Bradley against him. But other than Bradley I'm not sure there's anyone I'd say for certain would beat Khan at light-welter.

I am not talking about what Maidana deserves, I am talking about the results, Khan got the win in WBA eyes Khan beat him, so then how can the body ask the Champion at the weight to fight the same mandatory again after 6 months or get stripped?

Err shall i repeat myself again

They like me and many others thought on another night Maidana would of been given a tko, when a fight is close or there is an incident in the fight which could have effected the final result the governing body orders a rematch, and the reasons why the WBA have are more than likely the same reasons I just gave in the last post.

I think it is right to order a rematch imagine the fight was the other way round and Maidana won a decision after being out on his feet a couple of rounds before the likes of you and Laz would of arranged a hitman or sent a parcel bomb round to Joe Cortez's house for not stopping it. :good
