I think a lot of fans don't like him because of his presumption that he just needed to turn up to fights to become the youngest ever Brtish world champion. And because he refused to fight the likes of Thaxton and Murray (whilst badmouthing them in the press). Especially after years of the same bull**** from Fraudley. It's quite simple really, there were quality domestic-level fighters calling him out and he has always dodged them. So they get to work hard, in tough fights, and he's fighting D-grade opposition whilst claiming that he's going to eclipse Naz. One thing British fans hate is a fighter who talks the talk whilst dodging all his best opposition.

Of course there is racism in the world. Doesn't mean proper boxing fans dislike Khan because of it. Youtube is full of idiots regarding every subject.

Here is a thought - wouldyosay that he has more fans just because he is Asain or more haters just because is Asain?

There is certainly a fairly large proportion of Khan crowds that are asain guys - do they go to follow other boxers or are they just their to see an asain fighter?

There is nothing wrong with that in itself but that seems to have been another issue that has been skimmed over in that load of pish that is being presented as an article.

Who at ESB decided to publish that piece of crap?

oh yeah thats right, racism is fine just because it's on youtube.

Every damn clip of his Prescott fight has comments left with derogarative remarks such as Paki and Curry and get of this country etc etc.

Shameful. So you tell me these arent fight fans? So they just go on youtube to seek any pakistani and just so it happens he's a boxer and then leave rascist comments, yeh right.

The reason I dislike Khan is because of the Warren-hype train. I think he's a talented boy, I did before the Prescott fight and I still do now, but the guy was multi-millionaire before he had done jack**** in the pro ranks. He has owned his own gym for a year now, which granted does alot of positive things in the community, but what has he had to do to earn it?

Who said it was fine? Youtube is just where the muppets comment, you won't see anything so stupid and unfounded on here.

I dislike Khan, not Khan himself, but Khan the 'brand'. The hype train that has gotten into his own head. PPV when he's still a prospect, getting sparked in a minute and getting to fight MAB. If people hated him so badly due to race he simply wouldn't have gotten these oppertunties.

The only credible thing he's done was the olympics.. that was a great thing.. but hype hype hype after that. And he now gets a title shot... erm how ?! crazy

    Who gives a ****.

If you look on youtube there are racist comments about hispanics, blacks and whites, probably orientals as well on Pac-man fights but I don't remember seeing much of it.

Where the **** does all this 'You MUST like Khan' bull**** come from?

I'm Scottish and a Celtic fan but didn't like Scott Harrison when he was fighting even though he's both as well. I do like JaunMa Lopez even though I'm not Puerto Rican or Hispanic.

What's more racist, some bull**** saying I should/must like someone because they're from the same country as me or even saing I MUST like someone because he's of Pakistani descent or saying I don't give a **** where someone is from or what race they are.

Yes mostly but there there are a few genuinely put off by the hype!
Theres a lot of boxers who hype themselves up so theres nothing wrong with that.
I hope the lad does well !
