Sorry, but if you are not going to follow gameplan / corner orders, no trainer can help you. Think Roach is getting too much stick for someone who has a glass chin and whom doesn't carry out what he says. Source: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/19891425
Khan should have hired me... It's pretty simple stuff -Keep your range -Work your jab -Don't drop your right hand - Don't throw the uppercut from range ESPECIALLY off a jab Where's my paycheck? What could virgil teach him? How to defend on the inside Defend uppercuts How to stay off/defend on the ropes
Roach is ****, he's the most overrated trainer of all time. He can't teach defense and his best fighters are giving him a losing streak on the big stage. He doesn't give hardly any good advice in the corners he barely even talks. Hunter will do wonders for khan, he's perfect for the job and i think he has the personality which can get in to khan's head and sort out his mind as well as his defense. Make him an intelligent fighter instead of just an offensive fighter with one method for every situation.
chin's can be strengthen calm down ladies. He can also learn to not take punches flush and a new guard will help with that. His chin is not terrible he just gets caught so cleanly most people would be hurt.
Their is nothing he can do. That chin will always be glass. Best thing to do is to focus on his defense.
Khan might listen to hunter this coming fight but after that Kan will go back to his old self you can't change the stripes on a zebra.
This depends entirely upon how coachable Khan is. Sometimes a new voice can help, but only if the pupil is ready to learn. He could try to pull a Wlad and never engage again, but I doubt a non-super heavyweight can pull that off.
Hi Amir. Congrats on the move to Showtime. Bit of a bummer that HBO did not want to keep forking out big dollars to see you get your ass beat and KO'ed but good to see you have landed on your feet. Well done and good luck with the chin.
